Good looking stylish hotel, traditional look from the outside but very modern inside. Very friendly helpful staff, excellent breakfast and 4 course tasting menu. Helpful in directing us to bike hire and things to do. Comfortable beds and lovely linen.

“The perfect recreational hotel with a very friendly staff, super clean rooms and with a mix of luxury and coziness.”

Extraordinary nice staff without any forced charads; they are genuinely very nice people. Extremely clean, decorated and comfortable rooms that felt like a mix of a luxurious hotel room and cozy ski cabin. The breakfast offers a variety of local and fresh food, which gives a perfect start of the day. A nice spa lounge with sauna, beautiful garden and outside pool and a cozy lobby/lounge. Good bikes to rent for a cheap price. This hotel should definitely have at least a 9,3-10 grade and I’m very particular; especially when it comes to cleaning, generosity and treatment/attitude from the staff. I can recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Bohinjska Bistrica or Bohinjsko jezero/Bohinj lake.

The hotel was perfect. Very helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms, nice breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunrose 7 for three nights. The location is excellent—very central and convenient for exploring the area. The hotel itself was spotless and had a relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Davor, who was truly a one-of-a-kind host—always helpful, attentive, and genuinely interested in making our experience memorable. His knowledge of wine really stood out when we dined at the hotel’s restaurant on our last night. Breakfast each morning was also excellent, with a great selection and quality. Overall, a fantastic experience—we would definitely return and highly recommend it to others.

The breakfast was excellent. Everything was very fresh and many items were locally sourced. Good variety of local cheeses, honey and cured meat. The Homemade granola and spreads were delicious.

“Romantic & aesthetically pleasing”

There are hotels and then there are those special places that provide a soulful experience. Sunrise 7 is among the latter where everything has been thought through and then sprinkled with love, affection and warmth. The establishments concept of detox is evident, the room doesnt have a TV or a phone, WiFi has to be requested but your deeper need for soulful warmth, peace and love are offered generously. The rooms are bliss, comfy and pleasing. The food is prepared with passion and love. The ambience is simply soothing. Can't recommend this lovely hotel enough!

“Perfect stay”

We traveled quite a lot in 2025 and this was my favourite hotel. It’s a beautiful hotel in the middle of the mountains, with delicious local breakfast, friendly staff, an amazing sauna. My favourite part was the breakfast which offered a great selection of local food and there was good coffee as well. The room was comfortable and quiet.

Gregor is a superb host, with the perfect balance of confidence and service. The food is outstanding, we had the four course menu with paired wine. Every course was outstanding and unique. The breakfasts are similarly excellent.

Amazing breakfast, I had a wonderful stay at the Sunrise Spa Hotel in Slovenia! The surroundings are absolutely luxurious — elegant interiors, beautiful spa facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it perfect for relaxation. The staff were incredibly attentive and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Every detail was taken care of, and the service was exceptional throughout my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a serene and indulgent getaway. Loved staying here!

Sunrose 7 really stands out in the Bohinj area, modern and contemporary with large windows but still retaining a cosy alpine feel. The staff were brilliant. The location at tge edge of the village by the river was enchanting. Good selection at the breakfast buffet. We enjoyed the spa, another couple were enjoying it at the same time but this was fine, plenty of space to to enjoy the sauna/jacuzzi and then lounge separately. Brilliant wine menu. Delicious tasting menu in the evenings for dinner. I would 100% recommend and would love to come back!

Excellent hotel. Very comfortable rooms, wonderful restaurant and helpful and friendly staff. We could not recommend it more. Great location in town but close enough to countryside to hike from the door or get in car for longer days out
