Beautiful garden by the river, lovely views. Shared facilities (kitchen, bathroom, toilet) were thoughtfully stocked. Owner is super friendly and helpful. Ideal base to explore the surrounding nature, very warm hospitality and comfortable rooms.

“A piece of heaven”

The area is like something out of a storybook, and so is the house. The host is warm and helpful. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped and spotless. It's truly a place to relax and reconnect with nature. It's also very conveniently located, just 5 minutes by car to Lake Bohinj and 20 minutes to Lake Bled.

The host is lovely and truly available all the time (as she says :-)) Huge plus is a beautiful garden for everyone to enjoy with lovely trees, amazing views and fireflies surrounding you in the evening.

“Beautiful, very clean and amazingly equipped accommodation.”

The apartman is very clean, comfortable, decorated with good taste, and it is amazingly equipped with everything. Even if you arrive only with your clothes, you’ll be provided by everything you need in the bathroom and in the kitchen as well. The host is very kind and help you with all information regarding the area, programs etc. I recommend it with good heart, we will definetely return.

Everything was perfect and the owner was super nice and welcoming, she helped us every time she could. The are is also really beautiful.

Beautiful family home, lovely hosts, well thought out layout, especially the kitchen area and garden. Fantastic river swimming spots for the teens nearby. Bus stop at the village on main road to Bled- Alenka recommended we get the Bohinj Card for discounts on bike hire, buses, food etc as we were on public transport. So we got to enjoy a beautiful mountain location without hiring a car which was incredible. Also enjoyed Slovenian way of life in a family home, which was a real treat, and very relaxing. I wish we had longer there!

“A beautiful place”

Beautiful quiet village. Garden where you can have breakfast is like a paradise, with views to mountains, river and old church. Everything very comfortable and facilities to make your own meals if you want to. Beautiful walking/cycle paths along the river to Lake Bohinj or Bohinjska Bistrica. Home made cheese/dairy shop a short stroll away in Brod. Host is very friendly and helpful.

It was very clean, well furnished and in a good location. The hosts were amazing, kept me up to date. She provided me a lot of information to help me plan my trip around Bohinj.

The place was clean,comfortable and cosy with a very equipped and comfortable kitchen. The view outside was just amazing, and our child was very happy with the slide outside the river near by. And most of all, Alenka is amazing, we will surely comeback! Thank you for a great experience!

“Home tucked between the mountains”

Such a magical setting surrounded by mountains, trails, rivers and lakes. The host is just fantastic so knowledgeable and informative about Slovenia and the Bohinj area. She goes out of her way to be accommodating and takes care with plenty small touches around the house to appreciate and enjoy. The welcoming schnapps was also a real winner :)

A location in a quiet place, we had a view of the river and the garden. The hosts are extremely kind, welcoming people, they helped us with useful advice. The lady is a pleasant presence. We liked the Bohinj area very much, the lake, the mountain trails, the food, everything was delightful.

Alenka and her family are exceptional hosts. I felt so instantly welcomed and impressed by their generosity and hospitality. I had more space to myself than I needed and the property was a beautiful place to spend a few nights. I couldn't believe how affordable my room was, given the extremely high quality of accommodation! I wish that I could have stayed longer, not only to enjoy time in nature and the beautiful Bohinj region, but also to spend more time with Alenka and her family - their presence is delightful and they have so many great recommendations to share. I'll certainly be back!

Stunning place, beautiful location. If you are looking for a local home environment you will be very satisfied. it was magical, we were very happy to stay there and we hope that we can come back someday. The host is wonderful, kind and friendly, explains and advises everything you need or want to know. Slovenia is a beautiful country.

I loved staying at this property. My host was so helpful and kind. Location is great as the bus stop is less than 3 minutes away, with direct busses to Bohinj (5 minutes), Bled (20 minutes), Vogel (10 minutes) and Ljubljana (1hr). I got the bus directly from the airport to the property with no problems. My room was spotless and had everything I needed. I would definitely come back!
