“Perfect stay in Bogota with very friendly host”

We highly enjoyed our 3 night stay in Bogota. Alex was super friendly and helpful. He gave great recommendations and organized a taxi for us. Also we could do our laundry, which was very useful. The terrace had great view over the city and even a pool table. Everything was super clean. Overall, highly recommend this place

The host, Alexis, was really really kind. Also the location is just a few minutes walk from the well visited Candelaria. Also it is more like a guest house so there is no reception you just get a key and you stay there with the rest of the guests. So it is a hostel with a being at home vibe. We really loved it!

“Kindness cleaness and amazing service”

Alexis the owner was truly amazing, to be honest beyond expectancies ! He went to the house at 4:30 am to open the house for us as our journey was delayed by many hours ! The even went back home and brought us teas and lemons to make us a hot drink ! Everything about his performance was extraordinary ! Many many thanks ! The house was so cosy and lovely - close to all the interesting places of La Candelaria ! The roof top was wonderful as Oliver could stay there the whole day as he was in crutches !

“Great for visiting Bogota!”

We absolutely loved staying here and would come back any time when returning to Bogota. The host is so welcoming and made our stay and also introduction to Colombia really easy. Thanks to him we had an amazing day in Bogota. The beds are comfortable, the shower was nice, the room was spacious and the terrace was a lovely place to hang out!

Comfortable, relaxed, quiet setting close to the historic centre. The owner was extremely helpful and obliging. Bathroom facilities were new. Kitchen was user friendly. Rooftop a great retreat.

I loved being right by the action in La Candelaria. If I had more time to enjoy the property the rooftop would've been exceptional. I was well oriented to the neighbourhood by our kind host. Would absolutely stay here again.

We loved staying at Casa Lourdes. It's in a great location on the edge of the historic and super lovely Candelaria area of Bogotá. It's easy to walk from the hostel to many of the main attractions and there are also good bus links. The hostel is a charming and quiet place, well equipped with a basic kitchen and nice showers. The best part is that Alex, the owner, is super friendly and super helpful, he gave us lots of great suggestions of things to see and do and also invited us to join his friends and family to watch the local football derby and for the Christmas Velitas celebrations.

Everything was amazing,I felt like in my house,everybody from the house helped me so much about knowing Bogora,and even invited me to watch a footbal game in the city and for a lunch. Its a perfect place to experience Bogota and wonderful people who own that house. I will always go there,thank you for everything!

The guest house is a little piece of gem. Its built with attention to all small details and definitely has its charm. I had a warm welcome and the host Alexis really did everything he could do to make me feel home, feel safe and have fun. He pays special attention to all his guests and I m really grateful for all the care i got. If you want to experience real Colombian hospitality in a real Colombian house, I d recommend this place.

Very nice owner, very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice, incredibly clean, price is very good and on top of that, it was an authentic colonial house, absolutely beautiful and very close to Candelaria.

Amazing place. Everything was perfect: communication, reception, services. The place has a beautiful vibe, with lots of plants, a nice garden and a terrace. They are a nice family and help you with everything you may need. I really felt at home :) definitely a place to come back to. Muchas gracias por todo!

I loved the fact that it was like staying in a personal, typical house. There was a night where we were actually all alone. Wonderful! There is a nice out door space and a lovely terrace with a great view of city. The owner was very accommodating and w very helpful.

Loved the location just outside the Candelaria, away from the tourists and in a more "authentic" area. The back yard was GREAT for my dog and the views from the rooftop were amazing. The host is EXTREMELY helpful and accommodating. We'll stay here again!
