“Definitely a fun place to stay highly recommend”

We had a very enjoyable experience at Skullys for the 5 nights we stayed there. Pierre at reception was always cheerful and super kind. Although I wanted to practice my Spanish, it was actually really great that most staff spoke English so we could ask for some detailed information about the island, local tours etc and Pierre even gave me some Spanish tips. The rooms were clean and we had a little fridge. The bedding and towels, pillows etc were all very comfortable. The shower was the best we have had in Panama...strong and hot. Johnny at the bar was great and mixed good rum smoothies. The adult pool was refreshing and had a beautiful view. There are 5 different food vendors on-site which were all delicious. We loved having such good options right there all day. But I have to say my favorite was the breakfast spot. The cheese omlette was the freshest and cheesiest we have had. The mixed fruit with homemade yogurt was soooo yummy and all very reasonably priced. We enjoyed all the activities they host on site and had fun playing pool. It costs $3 per person to get into bocas town which is less than 15 min away. There is a great Italian restaurant a short walk away. We rented one of Skullys ATVs (they give you a deal when you are a guest there) and spent the day beach hopping around Bluff Beach and beyond and loved the adventure. Thanks so much Pierre and Skully! Oh and an added bonus...we had a cute kittie (Mask) come visit us. 😺

As a family of 3 with a 1.5 year old, we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The rustic pirate theme throughout the accommodation is fantastic . The staff on reception & Skully himself made us feel very welcome. Our room was one of the beach fronts and was perfect! The view amazing! There was a kitchen for when we wanted to cook, food court for when we wanted to eat out and happy hour everyday. The pool was great as there was a shallow area for our baby. Just outside of town, only $2pp in a “taxi” aka yellow truck to get to the main area and so easy to flag one down. We walked to the nearby beach bars too. We really didn’t want to leave.

Staff were friendly and the entertainment each night was a great way to get travellers to mingle. Having different restaurants on site was great!

We had a wonderful stay at Skully’s House. Our room (“The Coconut”) was super clean, spacious, and full of lovely little touches upon arrival. It was very quiet—we had no issues with noise at all. We could see the monkey’s from our balcony. The team is incredibly hospitable, always ready to help, and they provided us with useful information throughout our stay. They even thought along with us when one of the children needed to see a doctor, which made us feel truly cared for. Activities were well organized and always finished on time.

Pretty much everything. The vibe, staff & owner, location, food options, pool, bar, live music. We really had a blast here with our 3 small kids. However what stood out to me were the tasteful rooms. High quality in the decoration and renovation they did (a year ago I heard).

Great location and great setting! The rooms were very comfortable and clean and it was great having a few places to choose from for food and it was all delicious It was very easy to get into Bocas main town and to the other islands

Spacious dorms with big lockers. 2 functioning kitchens which is handy when there are a lot of guests. Pool area is nice but could be cleaner. It's super nice falling asleep with the sounds of the waves.

Great friendly atmosphere, the place to be to meet your local expat community. Great people. Great place to be, down the road from the bluffs for some surfing adventure. All terrain vehicles available for rent, tones of trails to explore.

“What a cool place! Super unique”

Best hostel I’ve stayed at has everything you want in a hostel and it’s only a 20 minute bike ride out of the main town which I thought was perfect! Has food stalls downstairs and many places to chill out and relax. The dorm rooms are equipped with everything you ever wish for in a hostel. Light fan electronic plug clean shower with hot water good organised kitchen also just outside the room for guests to use! Thank you I hope one day I’ll be back

the best hostel i've ever stayed at when it comes to facilities. there is a pool, private beach access, sunbeds, a bar, 4 restaurants and 2 kitchens. the room was very spacious and nicely decorated. nice sitting areas
