“Super cute Water BnB with great views and amazing breakfast!”

This BnB is super cutely located right by the water. Michel was very kind and prepared delicious breakfast every morning. They also baked their own coconut bread which we will definitely try ourselves aswell. The terrace area with the sunbeds was our highlight, just a really great to place to hangout and enjoy the sun! You can also go for a swim there and we had an unexpected great snorkeling experience right there seeing many fish and even two manta rays. The room was nice with working AC and hot water! Isla Carenero is pretty quiet so there isn‘t much to do and not the big beaches as on the other islands, so we were happy that we had tours booked for these days. (We stayed for 3 nights) There is a good supermarket around 5 minutes by walk away where you can get all essentials! Would definitely recommend this place and stay here again! Has a lot of charme:)

“Perfect spot to enjoy Bocas without being in the hustle and bustle”

We had a wonderful stay at Riva, the accommodation is clean, comfortable and the perfect location. Michel was very accommodating and helpful with his tips and gave us a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was also lovely! 100% recommend staying here as it’s quiet but perfectly located to all the other islands!

“Paradise on Earth!”

Paradise on Earth! What an Amazing place! We never realised how beautiful the Bocas Del Toro were, but at Riva, on Isla Colon, it was just Magical! The place itself was just Heaven & Michel our Host couldn’t do enough! He was lovely! Very friendly & knowledgeable & full of great advice! He was available 24/7 for any issues or problems & even helped us arrange our transfer to Costa Rica from there! You could tell he was a Chef as his breakfast was to die for! Especially his Coffee! There was lots to do & easy to move about with the water Taxi’s. From the main island to ours was just $1. You could swim & snorkel at our jetty in the crystal clear water & the Sting rays & Star fish were there in abundance! Absolute Paradise! Everyone staying there was so friendly, it was like a home from home! We made lots of new lovely friends, Our new Bocas Family! 3 days was definitely not enough! Could have stayed there for ever! Highly recommend!

“Pleasant short stay with long itchyness afterwards”

Easy to reach by water taxi from Colon, the main island. Close to restaurants, bars on the beach and not to busy or noisy even with the spring-breaker at Colon when we stayed. Happy hour at Bibi’s is very chillaxing. Breakfast is very nice on the deck in the morning right on the water

“Perfect B&B on Carenero”

The location is fabulous, the property is on stilts over the water. Our room was excellent with a balcony. You can swim and snorkel straight off of the jetty. Quieter than the main town but only $1 taxi ride across to town. Michel the host is super helpful and cooks a great breakfast. He'll even do a load of washing over night for $10.

Location. Close to all, but not noisy like the main island. Water taxi quick and easy in front of the place. Host was really friendly and made the stay nice. He really compensated for the downsides.

The property was excellently located just a short water taxi from Bocas Town and close to a supermarket. The apartment was clean and very good quality. The common area was great to chill during the day as well! It was overall a brilliant stay and would 100% recommend.

“A Gem on Carenero”

Riva feels like home. It is perfectly located on the island and you will find beaches, restaurants and more in walking distance. Michel did everything to make us feel comfy and he was always helpful. His breakfast is delicious and we enjoyed everything there.

“Relaxing few days at Riva”

We had a really wonderful stay at Riva. Isla Carenero is really special, with lots of lovely sandy beaches and fun bars/restaurants. The room was very comfortable and the view from the deck was lovely. The breakfast was also delicious every morning. The bed was great! Eduardo was really friendly and gave us so many great recommendations of places to eat and things to see. He also recommended a tour to the Zapatilla islands, which he kindly booked for us. The location of Riva is really great, with water taxis able to pick you up/drop you off directly at Riva’s dock.

Beautiful low key relaxing property, with just a few rooms so never too busy and enough space. Wonderful host who makes a delicious breakfast every day.

Location is amazing, attention to detail, breakfast is super great food quality, bed is big and comfortable. Good size bathroom and shower. Everything is sparkling clean. This morning we swam from the dock we saw rays, trumpet fish ( blue barracuda) zebra fish, snappers and snorkel) Breakfast was a treat and Michel the owner was always there to ensure everything was top notch. 🤩👏🏻

“Excellent place to stay in Bocas”

We had a fantastic stay at Riva B&B. Our host, Michel, was always attentive and made sure everything was perfect for us. The breakfast is delicious, and the house itself is beautiful, a true little paradise to relax. One of the most magical parts of staying here is falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the sea. There are plenty of starfish right by the house, and the nearby beaches and restaurants are lovely as well. All in all, Riva is the perfect place to stay in Bocas. They also organise tours directly from the property, which is extremely convenient. Highly recommended!

“Great stay at Rivas”

Really convenient place to say, just across the water from Bocas town. ($1 in boat). Taxis can be hailed as they pass by the jetty. Michele made delicious breakfasts with fresh fruit and there were a few hot options which were delicious. The water on the island is not potable but there is clean water available for drinking. Michele helped us arrange taxi boats for the main tourist sights on Bocas. We particularly enjoyed red frog beach. The room was lovely with a sliding door looking over the beach. Nice big bed. Good air con. Shower was nice and hot. It was very clean.
