Beautiful place with amazing hosts, makes you feel like home. The property is wonderful, quiet and surrounded by nature.

“Wounderfull!”

Great breakfast, very welcoming reception, a nice little beach and restaurant nearby, clean bathrooms, good air conditioning, and a great outdoor area to relax. It’s also close to Bluff Beach (about 7 km away), which you can reach by bike or by taxi for around $15 each way. It’s one of the best spots to enjoy wildlife and relax.

Very friendly hosts with excellent recommendations for restaurants etc. Great breakfast with plenty of choice, eaten on the patio watching the birds and listening to the howler monkeys. So much nicer than being in town.

We loved everything! Clean, well equiped accommodation. Good location far from busy city centre. Very helpful staff, they helped us with everything, we communicated with them via WhatsApp. Very good breakfast serving on own terrace, you can chose type of breakfast evening before.

“Highly recommended”

Britta and Karsten are wonderful hosts. They are warm, attentive and do everything they can to make you feel at home. The room is very cozy and equipped with everything you rarely find in Latin America: a shower with hot water, a hairdryer, a huge bathroom and a memory mattress/pillows. There is a large selection for breakfast. It is very rich and delicious and is served on the private terrace. For us the accommodation has the best location on the island in a very quiet street and still close to the beach. You can get into town by cab for 2$ per person.

“The best stay”

Karsten & Britta were the most helpful in all aspects including information on getting around the island as well as visiting other spots. They went out of their way to make sure I had a great time. The breakfasts were spectacular. I was able to rent a bike from them to visit Playa Bluff, and they also gave recommendations on taxi drivers and prices on the island. The B&B is a 10min taxi ride from bocas town and you can swim at a spot on the beach right across the road from the B&B. I had a really enjoyble stay and felt like the space was my home. I would 100% recommend for everyone.

Carsten and Britta are very friendly and helpful. They offer several choices for breakfast: everything is fresh and of excellent quality. The room had a small deck outside where you can sit and watch the hummingbirds and listen for howler monkeys. The place is in a quiet location, about 10 minutes by bus or taxi ($2 to $3) from the centre of town and about five minutes walk to a nice swimming beach. Buses and taxis often pass the end of the street, so it's very easy to get into town or out to Bluff Point. They offer bicycles for hire at a good price and even have. well-stocked bar! We've travelled widely and I can only think of one other B and B to match it. Highly recommended.👍

A lovely German couple run this place and they are extremely helpful. You get use of a bike which is vital because accommodation is far from town.

Britta and Karsten are great host. They help with every need and also give excellent tips of places to visit, to eat, excursions.. And having bikes at our disposal is an useful extra. We had an amazing stay!

Our staying in Oceana was wonderful, both Karsten and Britta are great hosts who go extra mile for the comfort of their guests. Casa Oceana is located in a very nice and quiet area, away from the noisy center of Isla Colon but close enough to it if you use the bikes that hosts are offering for free to their guests. There are beautiful small beaches nearby or places to eat out if you want, the back of the yard is like a small jungle forest with a lot of birds and monkeys that contributes to a total relaxing and stress free environment. The breakfast is delicious and fresh prepared very carefully by the hosts. Our room was spacious, extremely clean, with a big bathroom and a very nice terrace ..the pictures presented here on booking are not reflecting the reality in casa Oceana, the place, the rooms, the yard are much more beautiful in real. So, if you have the chance to visit isla Colo, definitely try Casa Oceana!

“Perfect hideout”

We did like absolutely everything. The House, our room we stayed in+ the gorgeous Bathroom. The lovely couple that were our hosts put everything in it, nothing spared or comes too short.

Excellent breakfast with many choices served on our terrace. Try the German Pancakes which were a real treat, served at your time of leisure. Karsten and Britta were excellent hosts, best ever.

The very good service received from Britta und Kartes as Owners!. Even! They gave me a free bicycle to move myself around the Island! included a towel for the Beach!... and their house and garden.... a really paradise 😍.
