The hosts and the staff are warm and welcoming! They make you feel at home. It’s a true family-feeling and not a typical resort-vibe which we loved. The view in the garden, many animals passing by ( monkeys, birds, iguanas etc). The breakfast is delicious. This is not your typical hotel, so don’t expect that! Very easy and chill. Good vibes only, especially for the cool people 😉

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villas at Gone Fishing Resort in Boca Chica! From the moment we arrived, Brad, the owner, made us feel welcome and taken care of. He is such a great host – super friendly, helpful, and always around if you need anything. The resort itself is a little paradise - feels like a hidden gem. The pool is fantastic for cooling off and relaxing, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the whole property is surrounded by beautiful nature, which makes it easy to completely unwind. Breakfast was always delicious, especially the fresh fruits that were served every morning. We also went on the whale watching tour, which was a great experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. All in all, we had an unforgettable time at this place. The hospitality. The three Islands tour is a great way to spend your day!

Beautiful location just above the beach with panoramic views of the islands in the Boca Chica bay. Super engaged and friendly owner Brad who was ready to support with every request. He put in considerable effort to charter a boat and get other guests interested for a special snorkeling tour to Islas Secas which I highly appreciated. I loved the spacious bungalow on the garden edge with a nice terrace overlooking the sea and garden. For wildlife enthusiasts the garden and surroundings are filled with visiting wildlife including monkeys and lots of bird species. Plenty of nice restaurants both on walking distance or alternatively a short drive to the village.

The beautiful location, big pool facing the ocean, spacious and clean rooms, super helpful owner Brad and lovely/friendly staff. The island tour organised by Brad at the very last minute was a great bonus. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We absolutely LOVED the place!!! It was like travelling back in time, amazing vibe, great facilities, beautiful location and views. Owner helped us with organizing snorkeling boat trip which was great! Monkeys jumping just outside of our window were super cool. I loved this place and would love to visit again! :))))

“Peaceful serenity”

Very serene and peaceful location! We stayed in one of the villas which was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The huge deck outside our villa was a great spot for watching fishing boats and taking in all the natural sounds of the birds and monkeys. We also hung out pool side a few times which was terrific for lounging or to cool down after a day of exploring.
