“Amazing stay”

The house is isolated (something good if you’re interested on seeing the Aurora), but still, close to Blönduós. The house was fully equipped , we felt comfortable, like in our own home. I definitely recommend this place.

3 bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Very clean. And the hot tub was such a nice treat after a day of travels. Communication with host was great, very responsive.

The remote location with sea views. Best for viewing northern lights, though we weren’t very lucky. The hot tub was awesome. Well equipped kitchen. Well decorated living room.

Very private. Perfect location for Northern lights spotting, especially from the hot pot(tub) and deck. Very picturesque with gorgeous views from every window. Just out of town, well equipped kitchen. Quick communication responses from very welcoming hosts, who dropped by to check all was well, after I'd messaged looking for the hotpot plug, which they had replied to with the answer. Cosy, Icelandic decor just added a great vibe to the stay. Comfortable and charming, thank you.

“Cozy Cabin”

We spent a night here on our journey to Snaefellsnes, and we couldn't be more pleased with our choice. The small, cozy cabin features 3 bedrooms. While there wasn't much room for our luggage, the welcoming atmosphere was what truly mattered. It had a homey vibe, offering us privacy and a sense of serenity. With the chilly weather outside, the cabin felt clean and warm. Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful space, what's more, there's a private hot tub right outside the door step!!!! :))

“Little cottage by the river”

This rustic cottage was a few kilometres out of Blonduos, just off the main road. It was easy to find and very private. The location was picturesque and convenient for an overnight stay. The rooms were small and cosy with very comfortable furniture. The kitchen was also small but well-equipped. We had a very pleasant stay.

Property is located in the middle of a farm land, so it is a bit remote but it would be great for seeing the Northern Lights (there are windows on all 4 sides of the property too). Two of the room sizes are cosy (enough for 2 single beds with a night stand in the middle), there is another double bedroom too. Spacious hallway with a bench and coat hangers for plenty of boots (and a place to sit whilst removing/ putting on boots), coats and luggage space. Kitchen only has 2 stove tops and no oven, but this is fine for those not looking to cook extravagant meals.

location is very good, great spot for northern lights in einter, easy access, plenty parking area, near the road but far enough to have privacy and dont hear noises or feel any vibrations of the road as other reciews mention. there are toiletries in the shower such as shampoo, there are english insteuctions to fill the hot pot and use it propperly, ther eis a gas grill with gas. 6 single beds divided in 3 rooms (2 each).
