Olga is a great host, who also offers dinner and breakfast on demand. We had dinner once and we loved it. The apartment has everything you need and is located in a small village in the mountains, approx. 45 minutes away from the „Gorge de Verdon“. If you have luck, you can see a lot of stars in the night.

Lovely accommodation with beautiful views in a very quiet and peaceful area. Most generous hospitality from Olga and Max in a very eco-friendly environment close to the magnificent Gorges du Verdon. Everything we could possibly need was provided. We had a delicious meal from the “table d’hôte”, all with local top quality fresh food. Olga took the time to show me round her vegetable garden and the chickens area (such pretty hens !) and I loved exchanging garden tips and experiences with her. We felt we were visiting friends ! We would love to come back.

Great Place!

We loved the place. We especially enjoyed meeting Olga and her husband Max. Their hospitality was outstanding. They were both very warm, and my husband enjoyed speaking Russian with her. We had dinner there and the food was delicious. The place is a bit remote, but we highly recommend it . It is well worth the effort to get there!

Olga is very welcoming and accommodating as well as being an exceptional cook! We had a delicious dinner and breakfast here and slept like logs in the very spacious and clean, comfortable room. Waking up to quiet and a view of the mountains in this quiet, tucked-away village is just heaven.

“Excellent stay in a wonderful place”

I was very lucky to find this place at a short notice, I think only because it's new on the market. When I arrived, I just said WOW to myself. It is quite a view! The house is situated in the outskirts of a small picturesque village some km off the departmental road. The road leading to it is small but very easy and well maintained. The house is on a hill-side so all you see is the mountains around! The rented room has an independent entry from the other side of the house and a place outside with the view to the mountains. And there are no other houses in front or on the side, no road, just you and the nature. Nobody sees you and you can hear only the birds singing. The place is also furnished with a table, easy chairs, plants so it was very pleasant to stay there in the evening. Also the dinner was served by my charming host there. And it was fantastic! A three course dinner made of fresh local organic products, very good cuisine, geniune home-made food based on local traditions and very nicely served. By the way, the host asked me what I'd like to have as she can cook normal or vegetarian or gluten-free dinner. The dessert was just delicious. The room itself and the bathroom are very spacious and very nicely furnished. There's lots of space both in the room and the bathroom to put things, which is rarely the case in rented apartments. There was a wardrobe, shelves, a table, arm-chairs. The photoes on the site show everything very well. A special word should be said about the bed. The matress was very comfortable and I had a wonderful sleep. I was woken by the birds singing. I asked to serve the breakfast outside even if you can have it inside the big house, but it was such a pleasure to drink my fresh-ground coffee, toasted bread, local yougurt and butter and marmalade made by the host herself. There was a wider choice to have. The host is a very sweet hospitable and friendly woman. It was a pleasure to meet her.
