Countryside retreat

The rural setting, the quiet, the little house but in October don't be put off by the walnuts falling onto the roof, the two animals that desire your affection ( pony and goat) if you love the countryside this is for you.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Pascal’s place. The house is located in a peaceful area, very clean, and thoughtfully arranged – a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. What stood out most was Pascal himself. He is an exceptionally kind, generous, and accommodating host. I felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of throughout my entire stay. Pascal went above and beyond to help me whenever I needed support – something I deeply appreciate and don’t take for granted. Thank you so much for your incredible hospitality. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and memorable experience!

Beautiful & quiet. Our second visit!

Our second visit this year and it's as idylic as we remembered. The location is quiet with views of the countryside and our friendly horse and goat ( who love a fuss). 2 ring hob, kettle, coffee machine, fridge, microwave and all the cooking utensils you need. Lovely gite with fabulous garden/patio area. In a quiet location yet only 10km from Bayeaux. Great area for cycling and visiting the D D Beaches, Bayeaux Tapestry. Perfect gite which we hope to stay at each time we visit France. Thank you Pascal

Location- Quiet setting but a short drive/cycle to Bayeaux with plenty of shops, bars, restaurants & tourist attractions. We stayed for the 80th Anniversary of D Day so our plan was quite specific during our stay. Visit the memorials, Commonwealth Cemetaries & beaches, but there are some stunning villages to visit beyond that. Cycling is a great way to visit this area too. The accommodation was beautiful. Everything you needed to cook, relax & enjoy the serenity of it's location. There was a private garden & each morning we woke up to our friendly pony & goat ( who love a fuss ), also a resident tree creeper type bird who would tap your windows, just lovely. Pascal was very welcoming & was on hand if you needed anything. The room had a very comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, very nice bathroom & dining area. Outside there was a patio & BBQ area. There is also EV charging at a cost if needed. A place to stay again & maybe do more cycling.

Piece of paradise

The location was great and all the facilities were perfect. We enjoyed the cosiness of the place, felt very welcomed and relaxed in the garden. We contamplated buying the place for ourselves to be honest! Oh, and the animals that came to say hello! We can't remember all the names, but there was Django the dog, a bunch of chickens and a rooster, a random cat and the goat and pony kept us entertained all stay. We will definitely return!
