Situated in the heart of the Moravian Karst Nature Reserve next to a former water mill, the Hotel Skalní Mlýn offers you en-suite rooms, regional cuisine and a large summer terrace. After a day of exploring the scenic karst landscape, you can enjoy fine Czech cuisine and spend relaxing hours in the piano bar. Packed lunches are available. In the immediate surroundings of the Skalní Mlýn hotel you can find the Macocha Abyss, dripstone caves and you can take unique boat tips on the underground Punkva river. Beautiful nature with many attractions. The train ride was amazing, also very frequently timed rides. The menu food at the restaurant was great, but the breakfast was a tragedy. I was on the verge of asking for a refund.

“Good for the caves”
The hotel is big and nice, the room was clean and perfect for almost everything, there were few places where to charge batteries, i had to remove the bed's lights to do so, but it was very good for the rest. It is really close to the caves, so i got to do a little walk.

“Perfectly situated for cave viewers”
The hotel is situated near the caves, so you can book an early visit without having to get up early. The breakfast was ok, the parking place and the little train to the cave are very convenient. I’d also like to say thank you to perfect receptionist - Lenka was very friendly and exceptionally helpful!

“Green chillout in Czech Republic”
Nice hotel not for away from several caves what was our primary goal for this trip. We can use transport to the Punkva caves, then also just walk to another ones. On the place we can find three parking spaces, tourist information center or restaurant or fast food also with clasic Czech Smazeny syr and good beer.

The room was spacious and gozy and breakfast good. The stuff was friendly and absolutely helpful. We arrived late, but we got extra hot water for tea. The location is perfect to visit Puncva caves. Lot of thanks!
