Loved the fireplace in the bedroom suite. Very comfortable beds and loved the heated towel rails. Beautiful fresh breakfasts and excellent coffee. Matil is just gorgeous!

Great location and rooms. We were not given great room initially so had to request a new room which was better. Staff were friendly and supportive. Rooms are comfy and warm.,

“A special place to stay in the autumn.”
A good breakfast in a lovely space. The colour in the gardens. The beautiful little lake. Staff friendly and helpful. Great to have the fire.

My now husband and I stayed here for one night after our wedding and it was perfect for us. The room was beautiful and the staff were so lovely. The grounds were stunning, such beautiful views. We both got massages which were also very relaxing. We would definitely love to return.

“Parklands sounded impressive but it was very disappointing, especially for the price.”
The location was good for walks. The grounds and gardens were nice. The garden suite was large and reasonably well appointed but the addition of a microwave would have been helpful, especially since there was no dinner service. The staff were pleasant and tried to please & made sure they had gluten free bread & crackers available on our day 3 but that didn't help our day 2 breakfast. GF alternatives are plentiful these days and there is no excuse for not having adequate Gluten Free supplies (including cakes or muffins which along with GF bread can be frozen for storage).

The bedroom is a chalet type room with a big bedroom and wide verandah. The bathroom was adequate good size, and there is a small kitchen/utility area to prepare drinks. Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly and helpful.
