Lovely, peaceful spot with lots of space and activities to keep young children entertained. Electric fire and AC were great in keeping the cabin warm and cosy. Really friendly and helpful staff both at check-in and check-out.

We had a lovely stay at Federation Gardens & Possums Hideaway. The manager was very kind and welcoming, and the whole place felt very cozy and comfortable. Everything was very clean and well looked after, and there was everything we needed for our stay. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would happily stay again.

“Federation Gardens hideaway”

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Federation gardens & Possum Hideaways. Our apartment, 'Linden was stunning—incredibly clean, spacious, and styled with a lovely minimalistic touch. The entire estate is so serene and calm; we spent so much time just enjoying the big meadows, the perfectly kept hedges, and the gorgeous autumn colours of the trees. The facilities here are top-notch. We made full use of the swimming pool, the tennis court, and the fantastic games area and BBQ spot. It’s located perfectly near Evans Lookout in Blackheath, making it a peaceful escape. Thank you, Jess for such a beautiful experience—we loved everything about it!"

Super cosy, complimentary marshmallows to use at the fire. Very kid friendly games room and indoor heated pool. Jessica was lovely and bubbly. Would go back in a heartbeat highly recommend!

Quiet location, private cabins, great family space

Very cosy and cute cottage. Loved the open fire and the spa! Location next to a lovely walk to ‘walls cave’ and a short drive to an amazing hike and lookout. Short drive to town for provisions. Jess the manager was delightful.

“Enjoyable settings but be ready to work at the heating”

(1) Environment: We loved the location. Nestled within a forest, the surroundings placed our minds at ease immediately. Aside from the greenery, the environment offered a good deal of lovely bird life: we were especially fascinated by the number of lyrebirds active within the grounds outside the huts. Quite a bonus! (2) Facilities: The spa bath was very nice. The kitchen was well equipped, therefore with adequate supplies one could eat in for as long as one wishes. The TV set with a DVD player attached made for good entertainment most of the time. There is a big library of DVDs in the office for guest use. (3) The manager Jess was very accommodating about change of huts for accessibility consideration.

Great location with wide spaces and park like surroundings. Rooms and facilities were nice and clean and very spacious. Can highly recommend when visiting Blue Mountains and surrounds.

“A beautiful place to stay to relax and have fun with family and friends.”

This accomodation was set in a beautiful location. It was peaceful and quiet. We did hear some kookaburras in the morning which was lovely. We made use of the comfortable BBQ area, fire pit, games room, tennis court and heated pool. The cabin itself was really well organised and very spacious. It comfortably slept our party of 9 people. I will recommend this accomodation to friends and family and hope to return myself someday. The location was easy to access from Sydney and Canberra. It is close to scenic world and other local attractions.
