Overview
Set 250 km above the Arctic Circle, in Björkliden, the ski-to-door access chalets at Kåppas Cabin Village overlook the Lapporten Valley. The property features a restaurant and free WiFi access is available in both public areas as well as the cottages. With a patio, the heated chalets come with a seating area with a sofa, a flat-screen TV and some have a private sauna. The fully-equipped kitchen has a dishwasher. A variety of activities, like hiking, fishing, skiing and dogsled tours can be performed in the immediate surroundings. Ski season is between February and the beginning of may, Outside these months other activites like snow mobile tours can be arranged by the staff, Kåppas Cabin Village has free ski storage and a ski pass vendor can be found on site. Björkliden Train Station is 1.5 km from the Kåppas. Abisko National Park is 4 km away.

Very good place also for summer vacation. Cottage well equipped, clean. The kitchen has the necessary equipment so that you can prepare your own meals. The cottage also has a sauna and a clothes dryer, extremely helpful. Excellent location, great base for hiking. Close to the Abisko National Park. Staff very helpful. We are very satisfied with our stay here.

Reception far away from houses, but worse was that first document to sign was agreement with loooong list of house cleaning activities. If you don't do that, pay additionally 2000 SEK (even one night stay). If I know about that previously, I would not make ressrvation.

Location is perfect if you want go hiking. Clean and comfy property. Fantastic view from both cabins. Sauna is a real joy after heavy and wet weather hiking.
