Overview
Set at the entrance of Bizeljsko Wine Region and just 10 km from the motorway, Villa Istenič has a wine cellar, an on-site bar and elegantly decorated rooms equipped with flat-screen cable TV, computer and free Wi-Fi. The bright rooms of the Istenič boast views of the surrounding vineyards. They all come with a minibar, air conditioning and bathroom with shower. You can taste and buy locally produced wine at the wine cellar. There is a restaurant just 500 metres away. Istenič Villa is 15 km from the Terme Čatež Spa Centre, 20 km from the golf course in Mokrice, and 30 km from the Croatian capital city of Zagreb.

“Relax and enjoy the sunshine and wine.”
The room was large and spacious. Very comfortable beds and a well appointed bathroom. A seating area was a welcome extra. Breakfast was excellent -with a glass of Istenic sparkling! The garden attached to the winery is a really peaceful setting for a morning’s (or more) relaxation over coffee and more sparkling wine. All the staff we met were friendly and welcoming. Thank you to them.

A very well executed wine estate. The hostess is a very polite and fine person. He served us a welcome drink of locally produced sparkling wine. The rooms are spacious, the bed and pillows are comfortable.

I stayed here a night and it is a perfect cityescape. Plaće, quiet luxury and amazing food and sparkling wine. Would wholeheartedly starini here, for recharge. P.s. if you ask Miss Barbara for local recommendation, she will give the best of what Slovenia has to offer. Worth visiting!!!!

“lovely!”
We wanted to stay in the heart of one of Slovenia‘s wine regions, and this was simply perfect in terms of meeting that requirement. We received s glass of bubbles with breakfast and upon sip one, we immediately understood why we had heard on numerous occasions that Istenič are of the best bubbles producers in the country. So delicious! self check-in was easy and a breeze.

“Romantic place with the best breakfast ever!”
The house was in peaceful rural area. Rooms were spacious enough and clean. At this place we had the best breakfast ever. Glass of sparkling wine included :D Lady who was working there was super friendly and helpful. She let us stay longer in our room so we didn't have to go out at the usual check out hour. We also visited the vinecellar and taste some great sparkgling wine they produce :)

Very lovely and helpful staff! They speak many languages (English, German, Slovenian, Serbo-Croatian). Tranquil surroundings and area. Daily change of towels possible with no extra fee!

“Stopover at a winery villa (champagne included).”
The room was huge with a high ceiling. Peaceful, in fact it was too quiet. A good continental breakfast, with a glass of Istenič's own (not) champagne.
