“Rude staff, no electricity”
Electricity cut out during our trip - no generator or back up available. This meant eating in the pitch black, unable to use the resort after sunset, no fan or AC in the rooms, and unable to charge devices! Staff extremely rude and unhelpful throughout.

“A wonderfully friendly and relaxing lodge with attentive helpful staff”
A beautiful peaceful location, wonderful staff and interesting history excursion, Ousman the manager was incredibly helpful with contacts to help us get into Senegal and the bird watching was very good. I even swam in the creek very relaxing .

“Stylish lodge with great setting along the Mangroves”
Fantastic quite new Lodge within the Mangroves of Bintang Botong. Very well organized, very clean and good food. Breakfast buffet included, in the eveneing theres also a buffet. Many things you can do there eg. boattrips, cycling tours, nature walks. Very good and functional rooms with Fan and Net. And great staff - thank you Bintah and Lamin and all the others.

Wonderful repose from the rest of Gambia. Lush, tropical gardens. Unobtrusive but very friendly service. Plenty of comfy spots to sit and read and relax. We stayed for one night and it was perfect amount of time before heading towards Senegal. Undoubtedly the most European tourist geared experience I encountered in the Gambia - in a positive sense! Lots of nature in the surroundings - loved watching the monkeys play!

“A beautiful relaxed paradise”
Beautiful gardens on the creek with so many lovely places to sit and relax and take in the quietness of the mangroves. The gardens are full of beautiful birds and naughty monkeys. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We went on the boat trip and bike ride to Bintang with Mussa who is lovely and friendly. Food is great - Sarah and Juliette looked after us with much love and happiness. Have a swim in the salt water creek when the tide is high.
