Thé beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. It was very clean. It was nice to have a courtyard which is rare in an apartment. It was very convient to walk to all the features of Bilbao and secure parking was only 5minutes walk, where we left the car all the time we were there. The owner responded very quickly to queries or concerns. I would hesitate to recommend Thai apartment.

Great location, perfect to explore the city, in a walking distance to all the attractions, bakery and supermarket near the apartment. Patio was very nice for warmer evenings. Good communication with the host. Beds were very comfortable and the apartment was very clean.

First of all cleaning lady does a great job, everything that follows has to do with the equipment and substance of the apartment itself! Second of all: We slept many other nights in beautiful places in Spain (13 cities, 14 apartments) before we decided to write this evaluation, so no first impulse in the following words: THE OLD PICTURES on booking.com DO NOT REFLECT THE REAL SITUATION. The apartment is about 45 m² only. On the the pictures everything looks bright and new ... IT IS NOT! The two rooms are about 10 and 9 m². This Apartment should not be booked for more than two (2) people. There is an architect plan at the door. The bathroom is 1,60 m², including the shower. (Foto attached). Furniture is REALLY USED (sofa, chairs) and with permanent dirt stains, especially the seats of the chairs and the carpet. The apartment is very well situated, in a more historic house in downtown Bilbao. When we arrived we found three (3) strong perfume dispensers distributed in this small apartment. When we put them outside because they caused headache, we found out, that the apartment HAS A HEAVY PROBLEM WITH MOLD (in the lower kitchen cupboard, open to the living room, and in the shower). The owner seems to know about it and tries to hide with perfumes. (See photos). Mattress in the larger bedroom (10m²) was ok. Beds are constructed as boxes that are closed with LOCKS! (Photos) When we arrived, the cleaning lady was still working and we saw one of these locked bed boxes open. It contained material for maintenance, bed sheets, towels. Had we not seen this, we would have felt VERY UNCOMFORTABLE to have a bed with locked case underneath one’s mattress and pillow. Bed sheets were clean but had a STRONG SMELL OF MOLD as they are stored in the bed box in the MOLDY APARTMENT. We were traveling by car and could use our own pillow sheets instead. Blankets provided for the beds are very used, with cigarette burns or other holes in it. We used our sleeping bags as blankets.

We would stay again at this well-located apartment. We had a rental car, preferred not to have to drive into the center of Bilbao but wanted to be a close walk to the Viejo Cascio (Old quarter) with the best food/charm/etc. This apartment was perfect for that. The owner was so nice and offered good advice. We could walk to the best pinxhos in the old town within 5-7 minutes. We were delighted to find a few nice bars, a medium sized grocery store, a great fruit/vegetable shop, bakery, coffee, etc within a couple minutes walk. The apartment is located on a dead end which was nice. The walk home from the center is flat except for the last block which is short but up a pretty good hill. We are 60 and 70 and had no problem coming and going. The beds were very comfortable, the apartment was quiet and a great respite from the liveliness in town. The bathroom is pretty tiny but fine and clean. The kitchen is great and very well stocked for a longer stay had we felt like cooking. The building that the apartment is in is nice and quiet. The patio was very large with a sheltered table and we'd have used it if we'd stayed longer. the location could not be better. Do park first rather than trying to take your car up hill to the dead end. The car park was nice, clean, safe, underground, and a block and a half away/4 minute walk right on the way to the old town if you needed to retrieve something from the car which was nice. Cost for 2 days parking (you may come and go but we didn't) was about 36 euros so $42. We loved Bilbao and felt like this apartment made it easy to walk to everything. It's a flat, beautiful walk along the river to the Guggenheim which takes about 15 minutes one way. Everything is walkable from the apartment which was great. Thanks Borja, we will be back.

The location of the apartment was central so everything was close by. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bonuses included the coffee machine and outdoor seating area! Borja was an excellent host, he greeted us at the apartment and gave us local travel and food recommendations. The check-in and checkout process was simple.
