Good location. But it was dark inside and kind of doggy… I had broken locker (I had my own padlock but I couldn’t use it) and staff didn’t help me after reporting that. I had to worry about my staff there. There was creepy men, and one girl that had room with him was very scared (and staff didn’t changed her room)

Good location and good common room but that is about it. Our room was narrow and humid, we did not feel comfortable. The price is better than most places in Bilbao but expect to get what you pay for.

Simple clean hostel. I stayed there for 2nd time after 14 years. Hasn't changed much. Ideal for pelegrinos.

Self check in machine didn't work, took over an hour of waiting to get in as there was no one to assist. Ended up having no access to my bed and had to sleep in a spare without key card access to leave and reenter.

Nothing to reproach to the property, they were there to help, location good and property clean and warm. Too bad that my roommate didn’t washed himself in months, that always hurts, not the fault of the property just something to expect when you get a shared dormitory. Too bad that people don’t respect their own body, they think their cool when smoking rolling tobacco and marihuana but the feet smell and lack of soap has given me a headache and that’s a shame in it?

“Nice stay at Ganbara hostel”

The location is perfect, near to the city center and about 400 m from the Casco viejo subway station. At the end of november, the hostel is not overbooking so I really enjoyed to be alone in my 4 beds room. The hostel was quiet and it's nice when you just want to rest a little bit. The great point is that you have a personal card for your room as a standard hotel. There is also a nice fitted kitchen.

Good quality/price ratio. Easy check-in.

Good for Camino walk to rest

“Not recommended, difficult to contact customer service, and problematic check in process.”

Unhelpful customer service and problems with check in that took over 2 hours to solve. This meant we were waiting with no where to sit outside the hostel until after 3am.
