Lallgarh Palace-A Heritage Hotel is a 4-star accommodation, Built in 1896, this palatial hotel in an Indo-Saracenic-style sandstone building is 2.3 km from the Karni Mata Temple and 2.6 km from the Junagarh Fort. The elegant air-conditioned rooms feature marble floors, intricately carved wood furniture and ceiling fans, plus TVs, and tea and coffee makers. Rooms also have sitting areas, safes and a Private Bathroom or Shower. Suite rooms add living rooms and sofas. We had a very nice comfortable and enjoyable stay, the staff were very attentive and the ambience was wonderful.The facilities were good and a swim in the pool was really very pleasant with towels provided. The only negative aspect was there was no Wi-Fi in available in the rooms, one has to sit in the reception area to use the Wi-Fi, which is a nuisance as these days one is obliged to be online all the time to manage everything. Overall though we had a very pleasant stay, a pity it was only two nights, I would happily stay for longer.

this is an actual palace and also has the first firing range of India and at the same time the royal family is living in the palace. there is also a private railway station belonging to the royal family. the rooms are very large and my older brother got to stay in the room specially modified for Amitab Bachan. the staff is very kind and hospitable the manager gave us a tour of the private part of the palace as well
