Very spacious, comfortable, good AC, good cooking facilities, brilliants walks through rainforest on your doorstep. Easy to get to shops and restaurants in town. We were given a short free guide to see sloths etc. on the property

“Great stay in wonderful surroundings”

Beautiful setting with several nature trails next to us. Many birds and animals seen - sloth, howler monkeys, lizards. The host were very friendly and helpful, and Jonathan took us round the property and showed us the sloth, which we would never have found without him. Bijagua is a charming small town with lots of eating places and there is a wide range of activities to do in the area. This was our favourite part of Costa Rica that we visited in our 3 week holiday.

Beautiful surroundings, well stocked, and ample room for two families with kids. We had an amazing time. Kamal and Bertha are wonderful hosts. Be sure to walk on the trails at the property. Location is perfect to explore the area, highly recommended.

“A quiet haven of paradise away from the tourist crowds”

Beautiful self-contained apartment in the grounds of the owners house. From the back-ground you can walk into nature in this beautiful, less touristy part of Costa Rica. Well appointed, clean property with comfortable beds and plenty of space.

“Paradise!”

This was my favourite accommodation in Costa Rica - a little piece of paradise. It was set on the owner's beautifully landscaped property, but was very private. Very high quality accommodation, even better than the pictures. We also enjoyed watching the howler monkeys in the trees above our cottage. Great location for visiting Rio Celeste and other attractions (we also enjoyed the Tree Chocolate Tour very much). The owners helpfully sent us detailed advice of things to do in the area well ahead of time so we could plan our time properly. We only stayed 2 nights but would have happily stayed much longer. Very friendly owners too.

“I wish I could have stayed forever!!”

The pictures of this property do not do it justice. It is stunning. There was a family of howler monkeys right on the property. If you love nature and wildlife, this is the place for you!! The home was clean and Kamal and Bertha were excellent hosts. They provided many recommendations for activities around the property and we were very happy with all their suggestions. This property is in a great location if you want to visit Rio Celeste waterfall, sloths tours and chocolate tours. I highly recommend this property.

“A peaceful oasis”

The property is beautiful. There are so many trails you can take and see wildlife right on the premises. The house felt secure and the hosts, Bertha and Kamal, were wonderful people. Even the ground coffee in the kitchen was delicious! The location was also prime as it is close to many sights, tours and restaurants.
