“if you travel for work a lot it is worth finding such unique places for even one night”
Best bed and linen! Window view and sound of water flowing next to the mill was exceptionally calming. Very tasty and fresh breakfast served by super kind lady. Also the receptionist helping us with check in waited till late hours to help us and guide to our rooms! We were only guests that day and felt welcome!!!

“Unique, Peaceful Renovated Water Mill”
Simply incredible. This place was so unique and very surprising. We needed to stay one night near Bielefeld and opted to stay here spontaneously and did not regret it. The hotel was created around an old water mill and left a lot of the original mill intact. It was designed so beautifully and intelligently! The staff was AWESOME! Seriously the most helpful and nicest hotel staff we encountered on our trip to Germany. The hotel was about a 20 min drive from downtown Bielefeld and very good as a peaceful weekend retreat. We just hung out outside listening to the sounds of the water flowing, walked around a bit, and just enjoyed the modern and spacious room!
