The athmosphere, the deco, location, the welcoming and helpful service. Everything really. The Saint Charles is truly a delightful place to stay at, close to the commerces, cafes and restaurants of Saint Charles but also easily accessible and close to sea front and centre. I will be back on my next visit to Biarritz. Thank you everyone

“Ok but overcharged”

Hotel was quirky, and traditional. The bathroom in the room was a little rough around the edges, and there was a drain smell that seeped through underneath the door into the bedroom. Breakfast was just coffee, a croissant, 2 fried eggs, and bread. Plus they charged us for 4 people having breakfast (only 2 of us!) and they said they could not refund on the card machine during our stay, but would do a bank transfer refund after we left our details. This never happened despite emails etc.

The location is far enough away from the centre of town to be very quiet but still close enough that it is accessible. There are excellent bakeries and restaurants in the area. The rooms are a good size, clean and the history is an aesthetic bonus. And the staff have pleasant, kind and helpful.

It was a really quaint charming guesthouse . The staff were first class - Roman especially. Highly recommended it

Everything, the retro look, the scent of whatever was growing outside, the welcome and the really nice people working there. Plus it’s a stone’s throw from the beach and only 10 minutes from the airport. A Gem

The room aesthetic was typical French Basque. It was minimalist and pretty. Rooms and washrooms were pretty clean.

“Biarritz Beauty”

This is a fab small hotel & the well appointed rooms have great charm though aircon didnt work too well in our room. Loved the location, 5 mins from beach and very close to exceptionally nice local bars, restaurants, bakeries & small supermarkets etc if you tire of down town Biarritz! Staff are delightful and very helpful.

A fabulous experience. The kind and lovely guy in charge was so kind to us, helping us with our bags and offering excellent advice on restaurants.

The location was lovely. A nice neighbourhood in Biarritz with the beach within a 10 min walk. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the building decor had a lot of lovely character. The breakfast was also delightful

Beautiful small hotel hidden in a nice garden. The room was enough big for two persons. Air conditioned. The hotel is in quarter St. Charles - small shops, restaurants, bars, boulangeries, supermarkets very near. Also the laundrymat was 5 minutes. The Grande Plage 7 minutes of walking. The bus stop from trainstation is very close to the hotel. It is possible to buy tasty breakfast. And the staff was really very nice, helpful in every moment.
