With a dream location in the heart of Biarritz, the hotel is 3 minutes away from a large beach, a truly magical place shared between swimmers and surfers. Located on the place Sainte-Eugénie, a quiet, semi-pedestrian square above the old harbour. It is but a few steps away from all the beautiful sites on the city. You will be able to stroll around Biarritz and enjoy the city center and the seaside. Many rooms have past atmosphere and others rooms have been renovated. All have a character and benefitiate of the exceptional location .

The staff at the Hotel de l’Ocean were exceptional. So helpful, so friendly, so kind. We added on an extra day to our stay, and the wonderful staff went out of their way to make the move into the new rooms easy. We started in the three bed family room for the first part, which was a little squeezy for three adults, probably better suited to parents with younger children, but it was fine. We finished with two separate rooms looking over the plaza, one with a massive king size bed, the other with a queen size bed but also had a fridge. The hotel has had renovations fairly recently so rooms and bathrooms were nice and modern. And the location was perfect. On the plaza, restaurants galore in the area, shopping, the beach in two directions, supermarket was a brisk uphill walk away, not far from the markets. Superbe!
