Overview
Chateau Du Clair De Lune is in a 19th-century manor house located 5 km from the centre of Biarritz. Free Wi-Fi is available. The rooms are split between the manor house and the hunting lodge. Each room has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, bathtub, hairdryer and minibar. Rooms in the hunting lodge have a private terrace with garden or park view. The Chateau’s manor house has a lounge and library. Guests are invited to enjoy Chateau Du Clair De Lune’s park, which is full of roses, magnolia and rhododendron. Atelier Alexandre Bousquet is a Michelin-starred restaurant housed on site in an 18th-century farm with mountain views offering fine-dining cuisine. Guests can also order brasserie cuisine from inside the Chateau, and snack food is also served during July and August by the pool. The Chateau is a 10-minute drive from Biarritz Anglet Bayonne Airport.

While the staff was very attentive, there was not enough staff. There was only one waitress on the terrace and in the dining room. She could not be expected to meet all the guests needs.

Pretty building close to Biarritz and good place to stop off. The restaurant was closed but we had a very nice light dinner served on the terrace.

“Simply Stunning”
The château is a stunning and beautiful place maintained to a very high standard. My room was in the hunting lodge and was spacious and immaculately clean with everything you need. The shower was very good and the bed comfy. One thing I must mention was the hospitality we received in particular from Lorraine. She was so friendly and went to any lengths to help us. I would expect that level of hospitality from a business owner, which she is not. She is a true asset for the owners of this place. The staff at breakfast were also very friendly. Location is very close to airport and train station so taxi journey is inexpensive. It's a little further into Biarritz about 10 mins. There is lots of parking if you have a car and dogs were very welcome.
