“An authentic Friendly and relaxing stay”

This a little paradise on the side of Etna. We stayed 2 nights at the end of september. It is not easy to find but the location is fantastic. You are in the middle on a vineyard, with Etna in the background. The room was very nice. It is very quiet and the pool is lovely . We ate at the restaurant and it was lovely. We tried their wine which was very good and even been invited to help on picking up the grape the day after. It is 40 min away from the funiculare for etna. The owner was so nice and friendly and we managed to communicate well despite my poor level of italian! I felt in love with their chocolate cake that they bake for breakfast and should have asked for the recipe!. I wish i could have adopted the beautiful black labrador who was following us everywhere! i hope he found a good home! thank you for that lovely stay! if you are reading this and looking for an authentic stay in sicily . Book it!

Warm welcome

Fantastic base for visiting Etna. The “hotel” is located on the vineyard of the same owner as the hotel. Here you can take a beautiful stroll around the olive trees and grape vines. The pool area and restaurant’s terrace have beautiful views over the vineyard. Both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was great and the wine from the vineyard was great as well. You can reach Rifugio Sapienza in 40 min by car - this is a good starting point for various hikes on Etna.

The pool!! The location. The quiet. The restaurant and it's extensive degustation of local regional produce. The accommodation was modern and very comfortable. The breakfast. MARIO the host!! He's wonderful and has a vision of a calm, serenity and sustainable space. Leo the cat, the most handsome poolside companion. Proximity to Etna and the 'way back' drive is so beautiful with no traffic! The sunsets. Mario's delicious wines. We should probably stop now...
