“A good spot for a night stop while travelling.”
Quiet room, good size with a good shower. Unfortunately the chef had been taken ill that day and the restaurant was closed which meant a walk up the hill to another hotel/restaurant which was of questionable quality. The lady in charge was very nice though.

A later than scheduled arrival was no problem and they made us an omelette and chips even though the restaurant was closed.. Room was very big, clean and comfortable and we were able to store our bikes in it.

“Ideal hotel for an overnight stay”
Very convenient location close to the A20. Bedroom was spacious, comfortable and very quiet. Lovely dinner and breakfast.

“Comfortable stay in quiet surroundings”
We have stayed many times before. Bed is comfortable and it’s quiet. The shower is good , plenty of towels. The owner takes great care with laundry - always plenty of towels and we love the linen bed sheet. Nicely situated for a walk into Bessines. Madame is very welcoming, the food is simple but very good especially the omelettes served in the evening. The waiter is terrific and very efficient - everything served with a smile It’s a help yourself to continental breakfast but good quality and satisfying

“Excellent on every count”
The steaks were the best that we have ever eaten (in forty years of visiting France). The room was spacious, comfortable, cool and quiet. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and proper French coffee.
