Gam Bay Bungalows is set in a truly beautiful location, with large protruding rocks right in front of the homestay that make the scenery feel unique and untouched. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible amount of birdlife—we saw so many different species, making it a fantastic spot for bird watching. They also have a sunset viewpoint, which was absolutely stunning and definitely worth checking out in the evening. The room was clean and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The bathrooms weren’t the best at the time, but the owner, Aaron, was in the process of building a new toilet and shower, which looked very promising for future guests. The food was really good throughout our stay, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We would highly recommend this place for a short stay—we stayed two nights and felt that was a good amount of time. One small tip: if you plan to go kayaking, make sure to agree on the price beforehand, as we were overcharged for a half-day rental in a nearby village. Overall, a lovely and peaceful spot with great potential and a memorable natural setting.

One of the best places to stay in Raja Ampat, so beautiful and calm. I would definitely recommend it :). The staff were really friendly and helpful, and there are dogs and puppies on the island, which makes it even more special.

This place is hidden in a bay, which makes the water very calm with a lot of possibilities to go snorkeling. Hermes and Monde were amazing (so are the others) and so kind, playing music and bringing us to all places with a big smile. Facilities are very nice with free coffee and tea and a good shower (inside and outside). They also have a very nice sunset view to relax. This is also the place where the Internet works. Information about the tours and taxis are very clear :)

This place was truly a paradise! If you like a close to nature experience this is the place. Waking up from the sound of the birds and watching the fish pass by of the bungalow it was something that we will remember for ever.

The location was the best! Went snorkelling out the front of our bungalow and saw memos, dory’s, sea snake, puffer fish, sooo many fish a corals! The tours are by far the best! They make sure you see everything and combine multiple locations! Citrus was the best tour with the team at Gam Bay! The new sunset look out is such a bonus!

The location and bungalows were beautiful the scenery was great easy snorkelling straight from your swim up deck. Food was tasty however the portions and variety need a bit more attention. It was nice having breakfast served on your balcony however a bit of variety would be nice maybe some eggs on the menu.

Incredibly stunning and secluded location in Raja Ampat. Gam Bay is breathtaking, and staying in the overwater bungalows was so special. Fell asleep to the sounds of the waves. The bungalows and homestay facilities were always clean and well maintained. The homestay organises transfers to and from Wasai and other islands. There are plenty of half-day and full-day trips while staying to choose from. The snorkelling was stunning and slightly different at every location. Food was really good. Breakfast was delivered directly to the bungalow every morning. Made a good start to the day. Aron, the owner, is kind and friendly. He also speaks English - which is helpful for anyone that doesn’t speak any Indonesian. Aron was always around but was also contactable via whatsapp for any questions. I loved my time here and will be coming back.

Gam bay bungalow’s was a beautiful homestay, right on the water with direct access to eye-popping snorkelling, tours they offered were reasonably priced and well worth it, all inclusive which was very convenient. Good people, good food, good location, just a great spot.

the owner Aaron and lil Aaron are a blast the familly is lovely i was traveling and island hopping in raja ampat this place i had to visit multiple times because.its like heaven on earth Aaron can arrange everything you want but you need to ask. his aunties make the best meals his nephew and niece will help.and guide you when he is not around if you want to be at peace visit this place no garbage around its clean and eco friendly he can arrange diving and daytrips my wife was crying when we left the place we felt like we found a new familly and home thank you Aaron

Staff was nice and the area is really beautiful. A little swim for the snorkel reef but not far. Food was really nice, could have been a bit more sometimes. Loved my stay here and the tours that we did. After this stay I went to Kri and was the owners homestay was intimidating me. Around helped out and arranged transport for me even when I was no longer staying with him. Thank you for helping out, it is really appreciated.

Very nice homestay with friendly hosts. Aron speaks good english and organizes tours and transfers. The location is stunning, the bungalow big and comfy with fan. The bed was a bit hard for me. Food is good, you get an afternoon snack but breakfast could be improved.
