Location was exceptional and directly across the road from the beach and made even better with the use of the equipment to go on the sea. Nice touches with coffee, biscuits and local cider. Very warm welcome by host and concierge.

What a wonderful vacation in this beautiful holiday home. We enjoyed the warm welcome and interesting memorial sightseeing recommendations from the hosts. The house is clean and spacious with a nice view on the sea. The kitchen was very well equipped and the living room very comfortable. Everything we needed was present in the house. When you enjoy fresh fish, the daily fish market is just a few kilometers away and the supermarket is at 5 minutes walking distance. I highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to discover and enjoy the Normandy coastline, history and culture.

“Cozy stay in a great location.”

The location was outstanding, a minute walk to the beach that we walked each day even in the rain. The grocery store was just a little ways down the same street as the house. There were so many other out door activity items to use, but our schedule was too busy to use them. Everything in the kitchen worked and was easy to use - everything you needed was there.

Fantastic location (approx. 100 steps from the beach), with good 'low-key' facilities for food nearby (boulangerie, a pizza place, Korean streetfood, crepes, hamburgers, etc). Within 30 minutes driving there is a LOT of World War 2 history to be seen and experienced. The location is across the street of (maybe) the first liberated house of France, liberated by brave Canadians. The house is a very clean place. Complete kitchen and great shower(s). Spacious rooms, good beds. We used the patio/veranda a lot more than I expected, because a Normandy summer is not always so hot:) The house looks (even) better 'in real life' than it does in the pictures. Owner Philippe and host Isabella are very friendly, flexible and communicate well. Philippe lets you use his canoe, SUP board and other watersport gear, if you want. Not necessarily a good or a bad thing, but good to know: the (wooden) stairs and floors upstairs are quite loud. It took our baby some getting used to, but in the end he slept very well during our stay. Must have been the healthy sea breeze!
