Our host was lovely. The room was large and had a nice view over the garden. The neighbourhood was peaceful. We used her swimming pool. The breakfast was very good, with fresh fruit and yoghurt, bread, croissants, ham and cheeses, and lovely coffee.

Everything. Great big large room. Clean. The owner is extremely friendly. The breakfast was very good as well. The location is fantastic, few stops from Bern station.

Breakfast was very good. Advice from Susanne on activities in Bern was extremely helpful. The swimming pool was very welcome on two very warm days.

Pleasant and obliging host, large comfortable bedroom plus small, shared room for guests with table and chairs, tea and coffee supplies, crockery, bottled water and small refrigerator. Breakfast was excellent., served in the family dining room. BnB situated in very nice treed suburb, close to bus stop to centre and station (free public transport pass for tourists). Nice walk in Autumn to two restaurants with beautiful views over city.

“Beautiful Peaceful Stay in Bern with a Fabulous Host and Breakfast!”

This beautiful house was set in a beautiful quiet neighborhood in walking distance to the old city center. It is great that the stay comes with free public transportation on the trams and buses, which are so convenient and easy to use. I felt so warm and welcomed the entire time, I wish I could have stayed longer! The breakfast was bountiful and delicious and my hostess was so kind and gracious. If the weather had been warmer, it would have been very nice swim in the pool

Beautiful house in suburbs, but walking distance to city centre. Although trams and buses can caught nearby and are included in stay. Tasty breakfast and pleasant host.

What a pleasant stay with a pool, perfect breakfast and a super quiet location! Susan is so lovely and I interesting and kind, the perfect host! So easy to get around Bern especially with the free pass we were given for all transportation.

The house is spectacular, in a gorgeous and peaceful neighborhood. Susanne is an excellent host that made me feel right at home, especially with the wonderful breakfast each morning. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable.

The house where you will be staying is refined and beautiful, located in a very elegant, quiet neighbourhood and just a few minutes away from a few bus/tram stops, or about a 20 minute walk from the city centre. The host is really kind and very nice, polite and unobtrusive; she gave me many useful tips on how to get around the city. The room I stayed in is very spacious and clean, as is the bathroom (which is shared with the other room; in my case there were no other guests, so it was all to myself). There is also a room where you can get coffee, tea, water and chocolates. The breakfast is excellent: continental; among other things, I enjoyed homemade jams and fresh bread and brioche. If I return to Bern, this will be my first choice of accommodation. Also highly recommended for the quality/price ratio of lodgings in Bern.

“Warmly”

The first bonus was on my way there - the host sent me a ticket for the public traffic in Berne. Although slightly out of the centre, this even solved that issue. Rather: it is a quiet place. The host is very kind. The breakfast was good. I knew about the shared bathroom but that was only something to keep in mind for the first night, as afterwards the other guests had left. I can honestly and warmly recommend the place.

My room had a lot of space and a balcony. Very nice host. Delicious breakfast. On my floor there was also a coffee machine and tea with some fruit and sweets. I really liked it.

Delightful hostess. Provided very helpful advice on Bern dining and cultural activities. Good choices for breakfast. The free bus and tram ticket for tourists is excellent and easy to use. The accomodation was close to the old town and a number of restaurants Bern is full of things to see and do, from its Walking Tour of the old town, to its museums and art galleries
