The hotel was located inside the park, and right next to the zoo, which made it very quiet, definitely very beautiful in the spring summer months, and made it unique, one of the reasons why I selected it. The gym room was very well equipped, clean and available. The SPA area was very beautiful, and well equipped, although perhaps missing a few more chaises longues. The staff were very friendly (specially the night shift) and tried to help us the best way possible, but it seemed many issues we encountered were out of their control. Due to low occupancy we were able to get a late checkout without having to pay extra, which was very much appreciated.

Location and cleanliness

There was an excellent choice at the breakfast bar.The location is very quiet, a little away from the the city centre, which was what we wanted. The staff were extremely helpful.

“Not worth the price overall”

My stay at this hotel was very frustrating. The first room I was given was extremely dirty, old, and badly maintained. I had to wait over an hour and move rooms twice before a clean one was finally found. During that time, I wasn’t even offered a complimentary coffee or water. After I left, the hotel double charged my credit card. While the duplicate charge was refunded, I received €21 less due to the exchange rate difference. So in the end, I paid even more for this poor experience — and no solution has been offered. That was the last drop to make me write this review. On top of that, the hotel is located in the middle of nowhere — which makes the high price even harder to justify. That said, I want to highlight the excellent support from guest relations manager Mattia. They handled the situation with professionalism and care, and arranged an upgraded room for me. Still, considering this was the second most expensive hotel in Berlin on that day, the overall quality, service, and location did not match the price. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The location of the hotel is great - right next to a beer garden/park. The food & drinks in the garden were just great and keenly priced, also a restaurant there that you could book in advance for breakfast/brunch. We had a room overlooking the zoo which was lovely. Bed was super comfy.

The staff are excellent. From reservations and concierge to bar & restaurant staff - all so welcoming, efficient and professional. Top class service. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are amazing, the food was delicious.

“Lovely hotel in a quiet leafy suburb”

This was a really lovely hotel in a quiet leafy suburb of Berlin, the facilities are modern and classy, a lot of thought into the design and look of the whole place, which works. There is the Spanish embassy next door so it did feel very safe in this area as well. A few minutes walk is a fantastic park with bars and food stations with a great atmosphere whatever time you go. There is also a restaurant there which serves amazing breakfasts. It seems to be small inside the hotel but actually there is a lot of space and it is cleverly designed. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Our room was modern and beautifully furnished, a v large bed, lovely bathroom with both a shower and a bath. A large fridge with lots of drinks to purchase, but v expensive. Overall the room was quite small but again was well designed so plenty of storage available. There was a large private balcony with furniture and decent views.

“Great city break, and a great base for running the Berlin 1/2 marathon”

Location by the Tiergarten and Zoo was great, right in the city but with a quiet relaxing feel away from traffic. Bar and terrace very comfortable & staff very friendly and helpful. Convenient for the Berlin 1/2 marathon start. Spa very relaxing. Good restaurant too. Private balcony with view over the zoo was nice to sit out on in the sun. Staff did us a lunch box and coffee for race morning breakfast.

Just a gorgeous boutique hotel, public area and bars restaurant decor is fabulous. Rooms are really stunning, well appointed and fabulously light and airy. The staff team is beyond helpful from even before step inside the property. Immaculate, polite and just a wonderful experience.

Highly recommend it for a city stay? Within the park, yet within reach of everything. Great food and bar and a sauna and pool. For everyone with kids you can directly enter the zoo from the hotel. Staff was super service oriented we had a perfect stay. I highly recommend it!
