Very cosy and clean — it truly felt like home. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything was well maintained. A comfortable place to stay, relax, and feel at ease.

Everyone at Sandino was so lovely- both the staff and other guests. The communal spaces were great to spend time in, with outdoor seating and an indoor cinema, someone was always around to have a chat with. It was easy to get into the city by tram, and there were several supermarkets within walking distance. Overall, very clean, cosy, and sociable, I will be coming back for sure!

Sandino is my favorite hostel in Berlin because it has this sense of community between guests even though you don't know each other. If you're a social person and like to meet new people, this is the place stay.

The atmosphere was great, chill, very friendly and the dormitory was super cosy. I loved to meet people there and rest after a busy day of visiting Berlin. They organise concerts, cinema evening and they have their own garden. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby as long as a tram station.

The location was gorgeous! Unfortunately the weather was really bad during our stay, but it was still very comfortable at Sandino, there were enough places so chill inside: own bed, common area, common kitchen, porches, movie erea

Comfortable, calm and quiet, really welcoming, clean. A little oasis in the city. Lots of thoughtful details that make the place run smoothly. Will definitely return.

“Amazing oasis of calm in busy Berlin”

This hostel is really a wonderful option for your stay in Berlin. The rooms are really spacious and bed are comfortable. The living areas are also nice, with a kitchen so you can cook your own food. There’s a fridge and storage space for food too. The shared bathrooms and showers are cleaned everyday. Sandino is truly a little oasis of calm. There’s a beautiful garden with Willie, a cockerel. There’s also a cinema room where a different movie is shown every night. The staff at reception is a really friendly guy who gives you a useful tour at the start. You can get a free towel and ear plugs which is very generous considering the price of the stay. Scoo and Ella are also really amazing at their job! I really loved staying here, I can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for the very lovely memories. Book this hostel as your stay, you won’t regret it! It’s also quite close to the centre. You can hop on the M5 most of the time. There are 2 big supermarkets close by and also a handful of cafés and restaurants.

Staff were so lovely, I arrived a bit late, but they were very accommodating. Such a beautiful hostel, very clean with great facilities, and easy location to get to town - by bike or tram. Had a great stay, and very sad to leave!

This hostel is so good it’s like a little hippie commune , so homely , great to meet and talk to other people , the facilities are perfect, great kitchen and hang out area , the garden is beautiful, chickens are so cool and super close to shops! I really enjoyed my stay here

What did I like about the property? The better question would be “what didn’t you like” cause I could simple say “nothing”. Oh wait, I can also just say “everything” to THIS question lol my bad…what I liked? EVERYTHING. But you know, it actually goes beyond “liking”, it was more like LOVE.
