I really liked the 70s atmosphere, it was surprisingly cool. The bathroom was newly refurbished, so the quality was excellent, but the building itself, the overall 70s feel, the area, the reception, the whole hotel feels special and unique. I genuinely recommend not changing anything. They’re on a good track as they are, and I’ll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Berlin.

I arrived quite late at the hotel and the instructions I have been given were very clear and I did not have any issue getting into my room. I really enjoyed the 70s' atmosphere and style of the hotel which made me feel like I was travelling back in time. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. Of course it bore some sign of wearing given its age, but everything was clean and it felt just like an old armchair you would curl yourself up in :) The breakfast was good value for money, with again a distinctive quaint atmosphere which I loved, and the people I met were nice and smiling. It will be my location of choice next time I have to travel to south Berlin.

It was a surprising cool little hotel. When you enter from the street, it doesn't necessarily inspire confidence, because the building looks a bit shabby. But the reception staff upstairs were super lovely, and the upper floor where the rooms are located is actually excellent. The room was very spacious, the tall ceilings are great, the bathroom was large, great shower, fantastic water pressure. Everything is super clean, the beds are large and comfy, it was all really better than I had expected. We paid the extra 5 euros to have a room on the quiet side and it was indeed very quiet. The street on which the hotel is located is a lively, nice local high street with tons of shops and restaurants, so it feels lively and convenient and safe. All in all, a fantastic old-school hotel. Recommended!

Charmingly appointed, a fabulous room with very robust air conditioning, which was greatly appreciated during the heat wave. A tasty breakfast buffet and unfailingly polite hosts. Clean, close to good transit and great food.

Since the check-in till the check out everything was very good. I thought that for the external aspect of the building, the hotel was going to be ancient and perhaps with some imperfections. It is old but at the same time very german and all the installations are in perfect conditions.

Beautiful Hotel, take a moment to look at the stained glass in the staircase. Many small details give some soul to the hotel. Mattress looked and felt brand new and was comfortable. Felt safe here and access by key at night was easy. Staff were wonderfully friendly.
