“Not worth the money”
The location is not very bad, and the furniture is great and the apartment has the basic expected amenities.

“Dirty, musty smell”
There were several major problems with this property. If you are a fan of quality or cleanliness, do NOT stay here. TLDR; Bad smell, gross floor, shower doesn’t work, and dust was everywhere. I have stayed at a “contactless” apartment/hotel before and it was a great experience, so I did not mind that there is no staff or reception on site. However, I arrived in Berlin at 5 am and check in time is 15:00, so when I emailed asking if I could pay for an early check in- they said it was impossible to generate the door codes early. The other contactless hotel (different company) allowed payment for early check in, so I was surprised when this one said it was impossible. Anyway, I found a cafe to wait for 10 hours. Naturally, when I got to the apartment I was exhausted and ready to relax. I was immediately greeted by a horrible smell upon entering. Also the floor is noticeably dirty and gross (see photo). I left the living room and entered the bathroom, where the smell of cleaning products was overwhelming, as if to compensate for the horrible smell in the living room. I wanted to take a shower but the water pressure immediately separates the pipe from the valve (see photo) so that the only way to shower is to hold the hose onto the valve the entire time. It makes for an uncomfortable shower as you only have one free hand. The bedroom was dusty (on top of the light fixture and under the bed looked as if they’ve never been cleaned. The walls had oil stains on them. Also, the walls are paper thin, so you can hear every single noise the upstairs neighbour makes. When I tried to sleep, the bedroom door did not lock. Even if you push it, it does not close all the way. I took photos of all these things (the cobwebs in every corner, the doors that won’t lock, and the shower that separates when what’re pours through it but booking.com only allows 4 photos so I will post those on my 1 star Google review.

Really lovely apartment! It was really modern and had everything we needed for a long weekend. I don't usually find sofa beds comfy but had a great sleep in the ones here. It's just a short walk from the metro and supermarket as well.
