“Lovely place and location”
Booked this at short notice in the lovely town of Bergues. It’s been very nicely restored. The kitchen area and breakfast were lovely. We were kindly allowed to check in a little early as we’d arrived ahead of schedule. Our room was nice, be aware some rooms share a toilet in the hall. The shower was behind the bed with a glass screen, and the sink in a wardrobe, so a little quirky and different. Free parking outside and good place to stay.

“Perfect stay in Bergues”
I booked late end of the day. However the host was flexible and kind enough to assist me quickly. Really a nice welcome. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. I really liked the decoration and nice details in the house. It's a nice mixture of the history of the building with the comfort of today.

Spacious room and excellent breakfast! Really enjoyed our stay. Great to be so close to the Taverne Vauban, which is a superb place to eat.

“Great setting, helpful host. In Bergues? Stay here.”
Best reception of our tour. The host came herself to let us in and explain everything. It's a beautiful old house in an amazing historical street within the city wall/moat. Wonderfully and recently decorated with vintage pieces (except slightly bizare, modern but fun shower behind bed), well utilised old cupboards for washbasin and wardrobe, Great dining area and well stocked kitchen. Good patio, where we could also store the bicycles. Great breakfast.
