Overview
Chambres d’Hôtes L’Ostal de Pombonne is set 2 km from the centre of Bergerac and features a 3000 m² landscaped garden with a secure saltwater swimming pool. Guests are invited to use the free Wi-Fi in the house and in the patio. The elegantly decorated guest rooms and suites each feature parquet flooring and antique furniture. Some have a fireplace and all enjoy an en suite shower room with private toilets. An electric kettle and tea, infusion and coffee are provided. Breakfast with homemade jam and pastries, fresh bread, pancakes, yoghurt, fruit and juice can be served on the patio in summer or in the common room. Continental breakfast can also be prepared on request. Homemade evening meals are available upon reservation and for an extra charge. Possible on-site activities include French classes, badminton and volleyball. Free bike rental is possible on-site, as well as free private parking is available. If you wish to have a continental breakfast, we can prepare it for you on request.

A great communal breakfast round a big table in the family kitchen. You meet other guests and enjoy the french atmosphere. Also we had a swim in the nice slightly salty pool. The hosts were very friendly.

“Pleasant stay”
Air conditioning was welcome during hot weather. Location nearby the airport is good. Being able to buy an evening meal meant not having to get back into the car. We stayed with a nice group of fellow guests which made the evening meal occasion fun.

We had a lovely room up in the eaves with lots of beams, it looked great but did mean a lot of ducking so as to avoid hitting your head! The swimming pool looked inviting but unfortunately the weather wasn't warm enough. The breakfast was good.

Boasting a private entrance, this air-conditioned apartment features 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and a hairdryer. In the well-equipped kitchen, guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, a dishwasher and kitchenware. The apartment is furnished with a desk and a seating area and features a dining area, a wardrobe and garden views. The unit has 2 beds.
Magnolias Family Room
The spacious room features high ceilings, ancient wooden-parquet floor and antique furniture. In winter, guests enjoy a fireplace and in summer the room's coolness. There is a shower room with private toilet. A fold-out bed for 2 children and a baby cot can be added enabling the room to accommodate a family of 5.
Acacias Double Room
Set on the 1st floor, only accessible by stair ,this room features a romantic decor, an exposed wooden-structure roof and a retro bath tub in the room. It can accommodates either a double or 2 single beds. From the roof window, guests will see old magnolia trees. In summer, a mobile air-conditioner is available. The room doesn't fit for disable person.
Aubépines Double Room
This air-conditioned double room features a desk, a patio, garden views and a private bathroom.
Jasmin Family Room
This family suite has a room with a double bed and a communicating bedroom for 2 children with a fold-out bed. The large bathroom offers twin vanity sinks and private toilet.
