Amazing location, great communication from the hosts who allowed us to check out later (we were waiting to board the Hurtigruten ferry). Comfortable beds in the main bedroom and good facilities in the kitchen and bathroom with clothes washer/dryer available.

Great location. Easy to find the apartment, and easy to walk to everything, including coffee shops, restaurants, ferries, supermarket and the very important Vinmonopolet. The train station is a little further away but it is a walkable distance with a suitcase with wheels. Getting the train from the airport is therefore a good option and cheaper and less crowded than the bus. There were also umbrellas in the apartment, which were a great help, the heating was spot on, and the kitchen was well equipped with the basic staples including coffee. When it was too cold to go out we enjoyed sitting at the big window in the evening watching the passing parade. The host was very friendly and communication was good.

The location and amenities

Very nice apartment, convenient location, near to everything and with a nice view. The apartment has everything you need. The check in went smoothly (one has to pick up the key from a nearby store).

Fully functional modern apartment in the perfect location, literally steps away from the waterfront. There was plenty of space for our family and the facilities such as washer/dryer were much appreciated. The kitchen was well equipped. The owners were very helpful and the checkin instructions were clear. Highly recommended.

The location is excellent - within walking distance to everything in central Bergen and a great view from the street across to Bryggen. The lounge is spacious and light, and the kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses. The beds were very comfortable (including the sofa bed in the lounge) and the street is very quiet at night. Alex was very proactive and helpful, and gave a good recommendation for parking: Klostergarasjen. Park on any level nearest the end where you enter the car park. Take the lift to the Klosteret exit, and it brings you out very near the apartment. All in all, this is great accommodation at the heart of a beautiful city.

Good facilities and all as described, excellent central Bergen location, no problems during our stay. Enjoyed the short stroll to the harbour and sitting watching the movements around the town. Bergen is beautiful.

Location was excellent, right in the middle of the City Centre, with breathtaking views. Infact, I could see many of the passersby clicking pics from there, indicating it was an ideal location for a good snap. The hospitality was beyond words. Our next part of the journey was on cruise, and the starting time was late in the evening. Upon request, Mr. Alex, the owner of the property, allowed us to stayback for so many hours; and the best part, he did'nt charge anything, inspite of my request to do so. It would have been otherwise difficult for me(especially with a small kid) to keep roaming around the city, after the checkout time, in the inclement weather. It could have been possibly difficult even to find a new hotel(for a few hours). I was very touched by his kindness. I could'nt meet him in person(though there was no need to, absolutely). All the instructions were clearly written left on the wall of the apartment. The comfort of the occupants were taken into consideration, even for the smallest of things!!!

Fantastic location. A few steps away from the Norled Ferry terminal to the fjords and the best viewpoint for photos of Bryggen across the harbour. The fish market is at the end of the same harbour and about 5 minutes walk. Supermarket and bakery 2 mins walk, just at the bottom of the road to the left. Center of town with Kode museums, shops, parks and start point for tram #1 (Bybanen) to airport 10 minutes walk away. Great choice of restaurants and bars all close by too. Apartment is comfortable and has everything you need. Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer. Would be fine for a longer stay as well as a short stay. Communication with host was easy via Booking.com messages. The cleaning lady is a star. She welcomed us to the apartment and also came to say goodbye at the end, as she let us leave our bags there until 3. This saved us putting them in the lockers at the ferry terminal or station (station 10 -15 mins away). Sofa bed was comfortable according to our daughter. The 2 armchairs looks at though they turn into single sofa beds too. Bathroom and shower were great too.
