“One of my favourite stays ever, love Berchtesgaden and love Hotel Gruenburger. We highly recommend and would stay everyt”
Amazing stay! This is my second time staying here in 8 years! The accommodation really showcases the Bavarian charm. Right next to the river and close to the train and bus and supermarkets. The pool was great and the breakfast was superb. The rooms were so comfortable and lovely. We stayed here over Mother’s Day and the breakfast staff had roses and chocolates for all the moms which was a beautiful touch.

Very friendly staff, great location, fantastic breakfast and a very clean hotel. The hotel have very kindly kept my hiking stick for me until I can pick it up in August!

Hotel Grunberger is situated near Berchtesgaden center, train stations and bigger supermarkets. Every basic shop / service is within 10 minutes. Personel was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was excellent - I personaly appreciate milk from Berchtesgaden and other local products. Room was very pretty and comfortable.

Location is perfect. It’s a short walk to the train and bus station. You also have supermarkets, DM and other shops nearby. Breakfast was a great experience. The buffet is extensive with lots of wonderful selection, eg smoked salmon. If you choose to dine outdoors, the view is really nice. Staff are nice and helpful!

Everything was very clean. Good breakfast. Good location. 5 min walk to Rewe or bus station. Hotel provides you with a guest card so you can use all the public transport in the region for free during your stay. Easy online check in and check out.

“Excellent all round”
This was a proper German hotel. Typically deviated with geraniums in windows bored on the alpine balcony. Views were excellent. Staff in the restaurant were very pleasant

“Our short getaway at Hotel Grunberger”
Lovely hotel ,very easy to check in Staff very nice and helpful. Lovely clean room ,comfy bed ,pillows a little soft but not uncomfortable, didn't stop me from sleeping! 😊 Had dinner in the restaurant was very nice. Breakfast i did find sausages and eggs was a little cold ,but overall nice.Great location a short walk to main bus and train depo. You also can down load an app to get free bus rides in the city. We asked for a late check out at 3pm, which was great as we had a late flight. Wasn't far to walk in to town. Would definitely stay here again. Loved it 😊
