Surrounded by beautiful mountainous scenery in the Bavarian Alps, and situated near Berechtesgaden railway station and town centre, this guest house enjoys a traditional and friendly ambience. The Gästehaus Achental offers charming and comfortable rooms. Many of the rooms feature a balcony or terrace which offer a direct view of the mountains. Guests of all ages can play or sunbathe on the hotel lawn, or relax in the recreational room. Wake up each morning to a delicious breakfast buffet consisting of rolls, various jams and spreads, as well as cold meats, coffee and juices. “Lovely owner, very helpful. Good breakfast. Ideal for 1/2 night stays. Not central,but not isolated.”
Check in was pleasant. Parking spot reserved for Motorbikes which is a Bonus. Lovely Bathrooms great walk in shower, room was pleasant and roomy.

Very close to the train station with a river flowing just across the road. Had a balcony to enjoy the weather. Staff was very nice and cooperative.

The property was excellent. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The location was beautiful and peaceful, making the stay very enjoyable. The room was spotless, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations.

“Great Location and Tasty Breakfast”
The breakfast was very tasty and had lot of varieties, the rooms were very clean and the bonus is the location from the train station.

“Nice guesthouse close to the main station”
Beautiful guesthouse close to Hauptbahnhof. The location is comfortable for taking the train/bus but keep in mind that most of the restaurants are 15 min away walking to the city center. Staff is nice and the rooms are comfortable. Breakfast options are: - Fruit - Yoghurt , muesli - A lot of bread, croissants - Boiled egg - Cheese and charcuterie

We really enjoyed our stay there. I was our final destination during our roadtrip to southern Bavaria and it was the best hotel we've visited. Great breakfast and we appreciated so much both the balcony and the guest card provided after our check-in, with which you can have access to many facilities in the town. We strongly suggest to chose this hotel if you visit Berchtesgaden.

“Love the beautiful setting around the guesthouse. Would definitely stay there again if I ever visit the region again!”

The owner is very helpful and thoughtful, willing to do her best to make you feel taken care of. Location is great, accommodation is excellent, great breakfast…. A place we definitely want to visit again if by any chance. Highly recommended!
