Sea view rooms with an onsen were amazing. Western style room was much larger than the Japanese style. Location was great, close to the station and restaurants.

Nearish to where the express bus drop you off, nearby 7 eleven and bus stops. The room is bigger than expected and could fit 3 of us comfortably.

Personal hot spring bath is a godsend for people with tattoos, breakfast is good value for the money and changes, location is very optimal for daytrips in Oita prefecture.

I book the room with a pottery bath and it is facing the sea that you can see the sunrise. In top of that they have an open air public bath that you can use to see the beautiful sunrise as well.

The room is super spacious. We had a big space for the living room, the bath is massive with a private onsen, shower area and a separate toilet. All amenities come with it are so good, they have yukata for wearing indoor, shampoo, body wash etc and the beds are super comfy. The staffs are so friendly and accommodate, thanks to them I knew of Beppu Hells and planned my trip there accordingly. The private onsen is a super big plus if you're shy and don't want to go to public bath.

Comfortable room with a private onsen. Check-in and check-out were quick and smooth, and the staff were responsive whenever we needed something. Good stay overall.

Great location - 2 mins walk to the seafront. Property is in an older building but well maintained. Parking available at the hotel. Were lucky to get the last spot! Staff rushed out to help. Huge room with a mix of traditional tatami flooring, Japanese table/chairs and regular comfortable beds. They had a water dispenser in the room which was helpful. They have a hot spring bath at the hotel though we didn’t make use of it. Good value for money for a 1 night stay.

Service provided was good, and the description matched the room. Especially the view and bathtub, refreshing on a cool March evening.

Lovely hotel overlooking the sea. Very clean, futons very comfortable, spacious rooms. Accommodating and professional staff. Meals were delicious and quanity provided more than enough to keep one full.

Booked a room with sea view and it was superb! Sunny in the day and it was very helpful in drying our clothes. Room was super spacious and comfortable. Two toilets - one with toilet bowl and basin; one with onsen bathtub with sea view. Breakfast was very good and sumptuous. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Onsen was great! 1 indoor warm onsen, 1 indoor cold onsen and 1 outdoor warm onsen.

Fabulous location in traditional Japanese style accommodation. Excellent service and roof top onsen was fabulous in the open air.
