Everything was perfect, from the location to the room, the bath and the meal. You can reserve multiple bathes within the hotel as well which is a unique experience! The employees were very nice as well we couldn't ask for more !

“Perfect Ryokan stay”

Little hidden haven - wouldn't think you where 5mins away from the train station. Staff where exceptional, so lovely. Room was perfect, just what we wanted from a Ryokan stay - tatami, futon, private onsen bath, lovely garden view. Breakfast was a delight, beautifully presented and very tasty.

This was an absolutely gorgeous traditional ryokan. We had a family room with a private bath that was lovely but I would recommend taking insect repellent with you. My family was served a delicious vegetarian breakfast that was a highlight of their trip. I unfortunately became very unwell and required a trip to the hospital. The staff very kindly looked after me and called an ambulance on my behalf.

Although I made a few mistakes when booking the hotel, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful during check-in. I’m truly grateful for the warm hospitality we received throughout our stay. The breakfast was refined and elegant, and the hotel’s location right next to the JR station made transportation extremely convenient.

Beautiful traditional Japanese room with natural hot springs and a very serene garden, which our room looked out onto. Had a lovely traditional breakfast, and the man that served me was incredibly polite and nice.

First experience with traditional ryokan with onsen - amazing adventure worth recommending to everyone. Spacious room with garden view and private outdoor onsen. Delicious dinner and breakfast included. Staff welcomed us with smiles and kindness, good English skills. Beautiful building very close to train station. Authentic Japanese hospitality at its finest.

Everything, really. This ryokan is located close to the JR Beppu station (less than 5 minute walk). From arrival until departure, there was not a single moment where we were lacking anything. The onsen were an incredible experience after our long days exploring the area. There is even a beach nearby where you can go swimming. Our rooms were also very spacious and had the perfect blend of traditional look and modern facilities. From our 3-week tour throughout Japan, THIS one was by far our best experience.
