Clean very stylish room and hotel. Very friendly staff

“Top Notch Beppu Hotel”

Proximity to Hell's of Jigoku and the staff went above and beyond to help us with luggage takkyubin and the hospitality was exceptional. We would strongly recommend staying at this establishment for any family. I'd like to pass special thanks to Kas for going above and beyond her charter of responsibilities and high praise for her communication in written and in-person. We were delighted with the permission for my daughter to perform a short violin concerto in the reception foyer as arranged by Kas. We loved our stay at Hotel Negura and the blissful memory will stay with us forever.

Hotel is very basic. Breakfast is just a sandwich. We can hear footsteps all night.

The room is big enough for 4 of us (parent+ 2 teenage age). The room is modern and very cozy. It is near to the 7 hell of beppu, walk less than 10 mins. There is free parking near the hotel.

Outstanding hotel. Very minimalist design, which is better than you might think. Some comments here talking about stairs being an issue, but there's about 16 wide steps in total, which you can zip up in about 2 seconds. Really not that big of an issue. Everything works perfectly, AC/Shower/WiFi are all top notch. Spacious shower which is separate to the toilet which is nice. Staff are excellent, the bartender is very professional and polite, great to talk with everyone. Really good location to the tourist area as well and close to buses heading into the city. You get a sandwich every night delivered to your room for breakfast the next day (it'll be in your fridge if you're out). These are delicious. I wish I didn't have to leave, it's very much a hidden gem in Beppu. I'll be back one day for sure.

The manager of the hotel was wonderful and assisted us with all our questions and needs. The room was very clean and spacious with a nice view of the garden. It was an easy walk to a good public Onsen.

The hotel is located in a semi retired area from the street and noise, surrounded by a forest. The design is modern, stylish and somewhat mixes perfectly the Japanese identity and way of living. The staff is helpful and welcoming, which was very appreciated, they offered guides and advice to experience better the city and its services. The breakfast served in the morning, also not in a cafeteria, but in the room, is of great taste and quality. We were very pleased to have it to start the day before heading to spa and onsen around the city.

Stylish rooms and very comfortable beds. Reception gave us some complimentary food items. Receptionists made great onsen recommendations and hotel is 10 min walking distance to many.
