“Very disappointing stay”

It was a lovely, small secluded property. Our room was lovely when we arrived. Nice pool.

“A very relaxing and enjoyable stay”

Very good food, lovely staff. Very peaceful and quiet. We were initially in family suite, which was a bit noisy and light so we were moved to different rooms which were lovely and spacious with great outdoor sitting spaces. The beach was beautiful but a short walk away across the train track, which was a bit surprising as not exactly beachfront as we expected but there were not many trains passing.

“Fantastic stay”

Fabulous place - we spent our first night in Sri Lanka here and enjoyed every second. Super crammed, serene and relaxing. Very warm welcome by assistant manager Sameera. Incredible room with direct view of beach and sunset. Gorgeous Sri Lankan dinner and breakfast as well. Will definitely come back

Premium hotel with excellent service (9 rooms and a high staff to guest ratio). Sameera was especially helpful. Really outstanding breakfasts. The beach is just 100m away on the other side of the railway line and is fabulous.

“Perfect end to a perfect holiday”

The long house was absolutely beautiful! Staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us and the setting was gorgeous. It was so nice here that we were reluctant to leave and explore Bentota. Our villa was lovely so spacious and cleaned thoroughly every day. Food was great especially breakfast. Beautiful beach right on our doorstep. Thank you all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

“A fantastic hotel where the staff will make you feel really special.”

This is an amazing small hotel in a fabulous location. The staff were brilliant led by Sameera who constantly checked all was well. The pool and quiet but vast beach were wonderful and very difficult to leave.

“Charming small hotel with great service on wonderful Bentosa Beach.”

Great, small hotel with very friendly staff and excellent breakfasts. 100m from Bentosa beach. No issue getting sun beds around pool and they even carry them out to beach and set them up for you in the sand with umbrella on request. Tuk-tuks always waiting outside gates for very inexpensive trips out (we adopted Sirranta and his red tuk-tuk for the week). Many pleasant restaurants within 5 mins via tuk-tuk.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel – the rooms were absolutely amazing! Spacious, spotlessly clean, with plush beds that felt like sleeping on clouds. Every detail, from the modern amenities to the cozy lighting, made it feel like a luxurious home away from home. The service was top-notch too. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond – from quick check-in to personalized food. All the meals were fresh and delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

“Beautiful, elegant, calming and relaxing venue with smiling staff”

There is something so calming and relaxing about this place. The understated elegance, tasteful decor, attentive, smiling staff. It is every bit as beautiful as the photos show, with spacious rooms and terraces. The fourposter beds with mosquito netting were kingly, bathrooms large and shower pressure strong. We would start every day with a long, relaxed breakfast, sipping cappucinos from 7.30 and often not finishing till 9.30, moving straight to the poolside. The egg hoppers benedict are to die for! The selection within the breadbasket hard to resist. The location is also great. Just a short walk to the surfers beach and to great restauranta like Nova Seafood and Boss of Prawns. Or from 4pm you can cross the road and get feeshly made roti and hoppers on the roadside. Overall, we were delighted and could not have had a better time. Two things to note: the pool is very shallow at one end, so not great for swimming lenghts but ideal for small kids; there is wine and beer but no hard liquor.

A beautiful, clean, cozy, and spacious hotel! The room was large, with a beautiful design and a big, soft bed. The property has an open architecture, contemporary with local influences, big furniture pieces made of precious wood and lavish plants giving you a colonial coziness feel. It is very clean & the services are exceptional. The food is lovely.
