We liked everything about the Taj Bentota . All the staff were amazing and looked after us very well . The chef Kamal , Asiai, Rohan , kannaangar and Reema in the Spa . Last of all Malaccoasa who looked after our room .

MakeMyTrip forgot to email the vouchers to Taj Bentota and we waited 3 hours at the reception. No email for resolution and finally the courteous staff got the booking approved on provisional basis

The breakfast had a fantastic selection every day and we appreciated the small differences each day that broke up the monotony. A HUGE thank you to our server Sam, who impressed us with his hospitality; he memorised our likes (and there were 9 of us). He had my pot of tea and honey ready to go, my husband’s coffee, my mum-in-law’s preferred coffee type, etc. Even when he wasn’t on our area, he organised the servers to have it ready. Thank you, Sam!! You bring respect and credit to the Hotel’s good name. The chefs always sent treats for my daughters and brought special dishes we had tried the day before. Damith & Ravindra were helpful. Sampath at the pool was so attentive and busy helping everyone. Saman, our room cleaner was phenomenal. So attentive to all our family’s needs. Our families- young and old LOVED his towel arrangements. The Dr in charge at the Spa was so lovely. She took such care looking out for my elderly mums’ needs. We all enjoyed our treatments.

Typical Taj Hotel service. Many amenities and activities. Fun for all ages, especially kids with the kids club, pool and beach. Food was great.

we stayed there for 5 nights. It was absolutely perfect, the staff was absolutely wonderful. They did everything they could to make us feel good. The head chef sarath was the best chef I have ever experienced. He is so good at everything he does, he needs praise and a pat on the back to keep calm in a hectic everyday life. great food, he runs around greeting people and tries to cook everything that is asked. Gayan the room boy was fantastic, he makes everyday life a party with his smile and kindness. Loved staying there and will stay there several times.

Staff are incredibly helpful and kind. Especially Sam who is a waiter and looked after us so well. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and beautifully kept by the cleaning staff. Pool is lovely - the views are absolutely incredible. Breakfast is fantastic! The gym is probably the best hotel gym I have ever used. Spotless and good equipment.

I have never been to a Taj before, so I have nothing to compare it to. The lobby is impressive and the location with direct access to the beach is great. The staff is lovely and the housekeeping do so much for you, Saudtha I believe, checked on us regularly and brought us more water or towels.

“Great 6 night stay”

Loved the stay. Was there for 6 nights with my wife and 14month old daughter. The attention to detail they gave to my daughter and her food, care, everything just made our stay worth it. Absolutely clean facilities, amazing beach. Unbelievable. Special mention to Chef Dalip and his team + Malawana who managed our room so well, new towel crafts every day which v absolutely loved.

Very good breakfast and dinner with a wide selection, Very beautiful beach in the immediate vicinity and clean pool area. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely book this hotel again; it was very nice and I would like to thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful property, very good pool and beach, which is very clean and has a small lagoon. We had a sea facing room with full view of the ocean and a beautiful balcony.
