I checked into the room early just to drop off my bags before family festivities. When I arrived back at the room later that night around 10pm I realized that there was a excessive amount of pet hair on my socks from walking on the carpet. I also noticed that the pullout couch had a excessive amount of pet hair on it in between the cushions as well as on the pullout. I have a very bad pet hair allergy and my allergies were immediately triggered! Being that we didn’t want to have to move all of our things including a sleeping baby we called the front desk and asked that a vacuum be sent to our room to vacuum the floors and as much of the pullout as we could so that I could actually sleep in the room. I feel like this is ridiculous because it should be required that housekeeping vacuum during each cleaning especially if there was a pet in the room it should most definitely be vacuum and deep cleaned prior to using for another guest.
