The view was amazing and having access to the castle was great! Overall very cozy and medieval atmosphere. Really enjoyed the stay.

This was one of our best stays. The experience itself made it all worth while and was incredible, and the views WOW. Waking up and having our coffee within the walls of the castle was awesome, not a sound and we had the whole castle to ourselves. I swear we could hear/imagine the sounds of medieval times. The host, Malte, was super nice and made our check in seamlessly. This is a must do if ever you are in the area.

“Unique accomodation! sleep at 'your own' Schloss! Feel like a historical Nobleman.”
This is really a unique place to sleep. For us a PERFECT stop. It is perfect for a couple nights and have the castle ruin for your own (or almost for your own). After 17.00 PM no public visitors were allowed at the ruins only the persons that sleep inside the castle walls. There are two appartments, a big one with terras (including a nice view) and a smaller one. We had the smaller one. Good for a couple or small family and for a few nights. It is really a majestical place, if you have good weather even more; you can see the sunset and eat your own food on the ruins at night. You will feel so free. Highly recommend this place to for one or more nights.
