“A home away from home”
Lazy Grape Guesthouse and Spa: A Truly Peaceful Retreat I recently completed a month-long stay at the Lazy Grape (17.04.26 – 17.05.26), and it was an exceptionally relaxing experience. The owners, Maureen and Peter, are a fantastic team who go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The service is perfectly balanced; I enjoyed total privacy, yet Maureen and her friendly team were always just a call away if I needed anything. Though the staff offered daily cleaning, they were happy to accommodate my request for every-other-day service. A few highlights for future guests: Accommodating Space: As someone over 6'4", I often struggle with bed length, but the king-size beds here offered plenty of room and incredible comfort. Excellent Facilities: The shower pressure is easily the best I’ve encountered in a guesthouse—a testament to Peter’s meticulous maintenance of the property. Dining: A delicious English breakfast is included every morning. For dinner, the menu is varied and flavorful, ensuring you never grow tired of the options. Highly recommended—you will not be disappointed!
