“Ottimo!”

Rooms are indeed very large, a lot of space, also the bathroom is well above average in terms of dimensions. Beds are comfortable and wifi is efficient. Beautiful outdoor swimming pool in the garden. Recommended both for holidays or a business stay.

We liked the location. The bedsheets were seemingly clean and the size of the room was good with nice views.

Great location, plenty of parking and was free, reception staff very friendly, nice pool and plenty of sunbeds.

Not much hotel is tired and in need of a refurbish

“A simple and comfortable place for a quiet seaside break.”

It was a great place to have a few days rest after a busy week touring. The location was good for restaurants, bars and the beach. The grounds were spacious with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas for shade. The room was spacious with a good bathroom and terrace.

“Parador de Benicarlo”

The size of the rooms, balcony and gardens. The breakfasts were wonderful.

The room was a little dated but very clean, quiet and comfortable. It was so nice having a balcony off our room with a view of a park and the ocean. The meals were very good and food came quickly once it was ordered. Staff was helpful and friendly and spoke English.

A wonderful Parador, as usual, we thoroughly recommend this hotel, the staff, rooms and meals were fantastic. Lovely place next to the sea, with great facilities. Well done to everyone who made our stay enjoyable.

the room is good, easy parking. the restaurant is not as good as other paradores. this is our 7th parador on this trip.

Easy parking. Great location on the beach. We had a very large and comfortable room.

It what I expected

“Excellent.”

A wide choice of food and the hot items were by order rather than in hot trays. It gave us a very good start to our day.

The air condition was not working properly, even though we closed the door to the balcony as we were told to do.Also it was turned off automatically at 4 a.m.so the room was too warm and stuffy.Also we had to walk a long long long way to the elevator...

it was our second time there - excellent location, rooms, staff, parking and breakfast! EXTREMELY clean, including the public areas - continuous cleaning activity was ongoing throughout our two different (3 days in total) stays.

“Purpose built and well run hotel right on the beach.”

A purpose built hotel with spacious layout and nice rooms, each with a substantial balcony. Very well set out grounds - featuring tropical looking trees. Everything was in good working order in the room, bathroom and generally. Both the room and all public areas were bright, well decorated and 100% clean. Nice breakfast - regarding both range and quality. Located a matter of a few metres on reasonable surface from the sea and a pleasant little beach area. For the train to Valencia (and ultimately Cadiz) or Barcelona one has to walk about 30 minutes through the town to the Benicarlo-Peniscola station. Good choices of services every day at a reasonable price. The station was more substantial than we had imagined it would be and it had a very nice cafe. It’s a pleasant 4 mile walk along the promenade to the surprisingly impressive Peniscola Castle. Lots of places to eat in the area, even in late October. Good and pretty secure and on site (outdoor) car parking - and the access lanes plus spaces were, for once, of a sensible size! The staff were all professional and friendly. Yes, there are cheaper hotels but for the quality and reliability this seemed to offer very reasonable value.
