Such a warm welcome from Dan and Francois and for our spaniel as well. We had a fantastic evening meal of humongous portion size of a wonderful chicken chasseur. Room well appointed and of a very generous size. We will be back!

“Fabulous experience hotel”
Fantastic one off hotel run by two guys completely different & both with great personalities. Great quirky authentic ambience everywhere full of bits and pieces, which works it's magic on the clientele. You feel completely at home here and totally relaxed. Excellent dinner menu & good breakfast We stayed for a night walking the Chemin de Compostelle, others were stopping off halfway on holiday journeys across Europe, others just having a break: everyone got on like a house on fire, it's that sort of place. Thank you François & Dan!

Dan and Francois are fabulous hosts. They work very hard to make the guests feel welcome. The rooms are well decorated, large and comfortable. The rural setting and the accommodation itself create a sense of peace and calm. The evening meal was superb, delicious, wonderful! Again in the restaurant there was a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. It really is a place to come and unwind for a few days and enjoy fabulous meals.

“Super friendly staff, Quirky hotel, ideal village location! Cheers Dan and Francois!”
We were made incredibly welcome by firstly Francois and then later by Dan. Both of whom continued to make our two night stay really pleasant. We were there to look at a property and we were given great local information and guidance from both. Hotel is "quirky" with its Convent history and once you know this the decor makes total sense. Room was a really good size, clean and a nice view of the Abbey. Food was good , wholesome and plentiful prepared by Dan himself. (we didn't do breakfast but it was offered)! Location is just perfect for exploring the village and the surrounding area. Oh and the local "Fanny's" beer served was fabulous!!
