Benson Lodge was a peaceful and comfortable place to stay for a couple nights. Set in pretty gardens and tucked away behind screening fences, it is private, exceptionally clean, had quality furnishings and linens, was well appointed with soaps, body washes etc, and had a nice continental breakfast supplied. Beats a motel stay hands down! We'd happily stay again.

Convenient location near the main street and amenities, but still very quiet. The bed was comfortable, and the small dining table/chairs were a nice touch, although the main room was quite small. The bathroom was spacious, clean and modern, and the extra heater was appreciated in there! The continental breakfast in the room offered several choices, and the fresh milk provided made a nice change from the little UHT pots that many places provide. The "view" was out to a small courtyard garden furnished with a small table and chairs, which was small but cute. The communications from the hosts were clear and helpful.

I've booked this accommodation for staff travel numerous times, always very easy and never any issues!
