Everything. Liza, your host is friendly, kind and generous. The building is picturesque with full facilities. My room was wonderful with kettle and even books. Breakfast was superb. Wifi great.

The host was very friendly and welcoming. The room lovely with a nice bed. Location was nice, with a great view from the top floor. Her own made bread in the morning tasted great. There are multiple Restaurants which can be found in the next town.

Booking should offer 11/10 for a place like this. It's nothing short of perfection. The house is situated in a small cosy community, Bellentre. Very quiet and peaceful, yet a short walk brings you to a place with bars and restaurants. The house is very authentic and the rooms are so cosy. You feel at home right away. The lady of the house will meet you with an unleveled enthousiasm and she'll do anything to make you feel at home. The breakfast is amazing and self made. You will leave the table with your belly and heart full.

The room was cozy and beautifully decorated with a really comfy bed. The breakfast was fantastic! Liza was really friendly and helpful. Great advice for walks and activities. We would like to come back in the winter.

“Little Gem in Montorlin.”

Didn't really want to tell you all how good La Portette is as it may be fully booked when we are looking to book again but it would be rude not too. Liza and Andy were exceptional hosts. From a cold beer on arrival to a wonderful multi course evening meal which was both utterly delicious and plentiful, from the aperitifs through to the coffee, not forgetting the wine. This was followed by a wonderful nights sleep. The following morning what a splendid spread for breakfast, so much variety and must not forget so much is homemade by Liza. Also the spectacular views of Mont Blanc and Les Arcs. When we return to this area of the Alps we will definitely be seeking out this wonderful chambre d'hotes and cannot recommend it highly enough. Thanks Liza and Andy for such a great stay, shame it was only for one night and we will definitely book with you again, if you are free, when we return to the Alps.

“Extraordinary”

One of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in. The hosts Liz and Andy were friendly and very helpful. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the B&B. Liz is an excellent chef and both meals were exceptional. We ate our dinner on the balcony with a beautiful view of Mont Blanc in the distance. The home has been fully renovated but still maintains many of the features of the original house; a real treasure. Our room which included a bathroom, was clean and had lots of charm. Internet was good. Lots of parking in the square beside the house.
